The Bell in Chapter 1 can be intentionally rung
In Chapter 1, when players are swarmed by enemies, they can ring the bell at the Church Courtyard to make the enemies retreat instantly. This can be done by shooting the bell with a Sniper Rifle or Rocket Launcher. This shortcut is only available in the second playthrough.
