Hunter's Lodge Walkthrough Chart

Follow the tutorial and proceed deeper into the lodge

Once the game starts, follow the tutorial and proceed deeper into the lodge. It is recommended to familiarize yourself with basic actions such as crouching and running while progressing.

Enter the cabin and go to the room at the very back

Once inside the cabin, go to the room at the very back. The other rooms besides the one at the very back only contain items for observation and are not relevant to the progression. A cutscene will start upon entering the room at the very back.

After the cutscene, pick up the Hunter's Lodge Key from the corpse

After watching the cutscene, pick up the Hunter's Lodge Key from the corpse. The Hunter's Lodge Key is a necessary item for the story progression.

Use the Hunter's Lodge key on the door right after leaving the room

Once you leave the room, use the Hunter's Lodge key on the door right in front of you. When you examine the door, a screen to select the key will appear, so choose the only key you have to proceed.

Proceed to the back of the Hunter's Lodge and watch the cutscene

After advancing to the back of the Hunter's Lodge, a cutscene will occur at the location where the Police Officers are lying down. After watching the cutscene, enemies will start appearing, so be prepared.

Proceed through the newly unlocked path in the area you returned to

When you go back up from the Hunter's Lodge, a new path will be unlocked. It is located on the right side in front when you go up from the Hunter's Lodge, so proceed if you have finished exploring.

Walkthrough Chart for Village Square

Proceed straight ahead after leaving Hunter's Lodge

After finishing the cutscene and leaving Hunter's Lodge, proceed straight ahead. There are no enemies until you reach the location with the abandoned car, so you can proceed safely.

Check barrels and desks to obtain items

When exploring the area, check barrels and desks to obtain Ammo and items. Ammo is especially important as it is consumed quickly, and running out of it may leave you unable to fight. Make sure to pick it up.

Defeat the two enemies near the abandoned car

Once you reach the location with the abandoned car, two enemies will appear nearby. Use the Handgun to defeat them. It is recommended to maintain distance to avoid taking damage while fighting.

Proceed forward and obtain the item in the left hut

Once you proceed forward, try to obtain the item in the hut on the left side. There is one enemy inside the hut, so it is recommended to lure them outside and defeat them. You can obtain excellent items such as Flash Grenade and Handgun Ammo in the hut.

You won't take damage even if caught in the bear trap

There is a bear trap set up in front of the hut, but you won't take any damage if you get caught. It is just a device to surprise the player. Getting trapped restrains Leon for a certain period. So don't worry if you get caught and continue forward.

Use the binoculars after opening the large door

After opening the large door, proceed forward and use the binoculars in front of the Village Square. Use the binoculars and align the white dot, then press the "focus" button to advance the cutscene.

Summon the Chainsaw Man

After enduring the enemy's attack for a certain period of time in the Village Square or entering a specific room, the Chainsaw Man will appear. The clear condition is to endure for a certain period of time after the Chainsaw Man appears.

How to Defeat Chainsaw Man

Clear the game by enduring until the Chruch bells toll

After the Chainsaw Man appears, clear the demo by enduring until the Church bells toll. After clearing, your score will be displayed, so one way to enjoy is to aim for a high score and play again.

Lure enemies into the passage and use Flash Grenade for an easier time

If you find yourself surrounded by enemies and getting defeated, it is recommended to lure them into the passage and use a Flash Grenade. You can find Flash Grenades in a hut along the path to Village Square. Using a Flash Grenade will stop the actions of enemies within its range, so approach them afterwards and kick them away with a melee attack.

Village Farm Walkthrough Chart

Go through the large door in the upper right corner of the map to reach the Village Farm

Open the large door located in the upper right corner of the Village Square map and proceed to the Village Farm. It is recommended to pick up any items in the Village Square before moving forward.

Save at the Typewriter inside the shed

Once you reach the Village Farm, there will be a Typewriter inside the shed. It is advisable to save your progress here. In RE4, running out of ammo can make the game more challenging, so it's recommended to keep separate save data.

Village Farm: Proceed to the second floor from the upper right cage door

Once you arrive at the Village Farm, proceed to the second floor from the cage door in the upper right corner of the map. Be careful as there is a dynamite trap set inside the cage door. Approach it and disarm it to proceed safely.

Go outside and jump from the second floor to the neighboring house

After going up to the second floor, go outside through the door and jump down to the neighboring house. The neighboring house is locked with a padlock, but you can unlock it by examining it three times and continuously kicking the door.

Obtain the wooden gear placed on the desk

Once you enter the house, try to obtain the wooden gear placed on the desk. The wooden gear is an essential item for progressing the story. After obtaining the wooden gear, a large number of enemies will come rushing in, so aim for their heads or legs with your gun and defeat them in melee combat.

Insert the gear into the device on the second floor of the cage door and activate it

After obtaining the wooden gear, return to the second floor of the shed where the cage door was and insert the gear into the device. Insert the wooden gear into the device and pull the lever to open the gate to proceed.

Move the pulley at the end of the path after the opened gate

As you proceed from the opened gate, you will encounter a pulley blocking the path. Hold down the corresponding button to move it aside. You cannot enter the house in front of the pulley at the moment, so proceed without worrying about it.

Lakeside Settlement Walkthrough Chart

Break the floor in the back of the house in Lakeside Settlement

Once you arrive at Lakeside Settlement, proceed to the back of the house where there is an enemy attacking the floor. First, defeat the enemy and then examine and break the floor to proceed further.

Investigate the bag in the basement to clear Chapter 1

Go down to the basement and investigate the bag. A cutscene will occur and Chapter 1 will be cleared. After clearing Chapter 1, you can view the records in the results screen and also save or change equipment at the Typewriter. Make sure to prepare for Chapter 2.

Clockwork Castellan in Chapter 1 is located inside the building on the right after entering Lakeside Settlement, in the roof with a hole. There are many enemies that throw bombs and Molotov cocktails, so it is recommended to defeat the surrounding enemies before checking.
