Steps to Complete Before the Defense Battle

Work with Ashley to Open the Door

As Chapter 14 starts, collaborate with Ashley to open the door. When you see the icon near the door, help Ashley climb up.

Gear up at the Merchant

Upon reaching the Merchant, prepare for the challenges ahead. It's a good idea to equip a weapon with a scope, especially since you'll encounter the Regenerador soon after.

Climb Down the Ladder and Head to the Cargo Depot

Proceed and you'll find a locked door. Climb down the adjacent ladder and make your way to the Cargo Depot. The area has low visibility, so choose between moving swiftly or eliminating enemies one by one.

Assign the Lever Task in the Second Building to Ashley

Once inside the second building, delegate the lever operation on the second floor to Ashley. This will open a rear gate, allowing you to pass through.

Unlock the Shortcut from the Opened Gate

Once the gate opens, go left and unlock a shortcut so Ashley can follow you. Be quick to rescue her as she's prone to being captured by enemies.

Navigate Through the Sewers with Ashley's Help

Further ahead, you will find yourself in a dark sewer system. Turn on your flashlight and use it wisely. It can alert enemies if not used properly. There is a locked cage you will come across; Ashley can crawl through small openings to unlock it for you.

Let Ashley Operate the Handle at the Processing Plant

In the processing plant, you'll find a handle on the far end of the room. Let Ashley operate it while you defend her.

Save Ashley by Using the Lever to Distribute Power

Upon opening the next section, you'll find Ashley caught in a trap. Use the levers on the control panel to redistribute power and save her.

Connect the Circuit to Advance

Correct for STANDARD or below	Correct for HARDCORE or above

Ashley is required to connect the circuit and open the next door. Work together to solve this puzzle.

Stock up for the Defense Battle at the Merchant

The next section will be intense, so take your time to stock up on weapons and ammunition from the Merchant.

Hold Out Until You Can Break Through the Wall

Hold your ground against the attackers and protect Ashley. After holding out long enough, you will get an option to break through the wall with a special weapon.

Walkthrough Chart until Boss Battle

Move Ahead and Investigate the Yellow Object

After the battle is over, collect any remaining supplies and move on. A yellow object will be seen up ahead, investigate it for your next objective.

Leave the Campsite and Head to the Merchant

After watching the cutscene, move forward to exit the Campsite and find the Merchant. With a boss battle looming ahead, make sure to stock up on ammo and healing items for peace of mind.

Defeat Boss "Krauser" to Complete the Chapter

Upon reaching the ruins, your battle with the boss, Krauser, will commence. To complete Chapter 14, dodge traps during his first form and aim from above during his second form.

Taking Cover from Gunfire

When Krauser fires from an elevated position, take cover behind obstacles. The fight with Krauser is a lengthy one, so it's crucial to minimize damage.

Be Alert for Traps in the Ruins

As you navigate through the ruins, always be on the lookout for wire traps and snares. Exercise extreme caution as you could easily get caught in traps while attempting to disarm a wire.

Parrying in Close Combat

During close combat, use the L1 button and your Knife to parry attacks. If you manage to create some distance, using a gun is also a viable option. Otherwise, keep pressing L1 to counter Krauser's moves effectively.

Evading the Second Form's Special Move

When facing Krauser's second form, climb the ladder as soon as he moves to higher ground. This evasive maneuver will open up an opportunity for you to deal heavy damage.

Target the Head in the Second Form

In Krauser's second form, his arms provide a solid defense, making it difficult to land attacks. Instead, aim for his head, especially when you have the higher ground.

Save Ammo by Using a Knife Against Mice

If you're looking to conserve ammunition, using a knife to take down mice is highly recommended. Be aware, however, that mice tend to flee when you get close. For a more straightforward approach, consider using long-range gunfire.

The Wandering Dead

Achieve by defeating the durable Regenerador

To complete the Wandering Dead mission, you must defeat the formidable Regenerador in the Incubation Lab. While you can typically defeat it by targeting its weak points through a Biosensor Scope, this particular Regenerador has multiple weak points. Make sure to stock up on Sniper Rifle Ammo for the task.

The Clockwork Castellan can be found inside a cabin at the campsite during the portion of Chapter 14 where you're chasing Ashley. This area comes up in the latter half of the chapter, so you don't have to worry about it until you encounter Osmund Saddler.
