How to Charm Reroll and Select

Summary of Rerolling and Selection in the First Round
1 Collect 30 or more tokens at the Shooting Range.
2 Save at the nearest Typewriter.
3 Spin the machine while taking note of the token combinations to be used.
4 Load the previous save data and reroll with different token combinations.
5 Repeat steps 3-4 until the desired charm is obtained.
6 If the desired charm is not obtained, load the data from step 2 and proceed to the next round.

Collect as Many Tokens as Possible at the Shooting Range

Collect a total of 9 or more tokens

To perform selective rerolling for rare charms, update your high score first and earn tokens at the Shooting Range in the first round. The more tokens you have, the more efficient the selection process will be. Therefore, it is recommended to progress until Chapter 14 and collect 30 or more tokens before attempting the selection process.

Earning through Spinel Exchange with the Merchant is also an Option

By progressing through the story until the end, you can exchange 3 Spinels and 1 gold token with the Merchant. If you have accumulated Spinels through Requests, it is also recommended to exchange them for gold tokens before the selection process.

Save at the Nearest Typewriter

Typewriter

Once you have earned enough tokens, exit the shooting range and save at the nearest Typewriter. Note that the position of the save slot and the total number of saves do not affect the results of the selection process, so there is no need to worry about them.

Spinning the Machine while Taking Notes on Combinations

Spinning the Machine

After completing the save, return to the shooting range and start selecting charms by spinning the machine. At this time, the charm that appears will vary depending on the ratio of gold tokens to silver tokens inserted into the machine. So, let's take notes on the number of tokens inserted and the charms obtained, such as "Silver Silver Silver: Chicken" or "Gold Gold Silver: Merchant".

The order of insertion doesn't matter

In the investigation by the strategy team, changing the order of inserting gold and silver tokens did not affect the results. It is highly likely that the charm obtained is determined only by the output table and the ratio of token numbers.

Load until the desired charm appears

Example of Selection Order
1 Spin until tokens run out with "Silver Silver Silver" or "Gold Gold Gold"
2 Load the save and spin until one of the tokens runs out with "Silver Gold Gold"
3 Load the save and spin until one of the tokens runs out with "Silver Silver Gold"

Once the tokens run out, return to the menu screen and load the save data to go back before inserting the tokens. After loading, insert gold and silver tokens in a ratio that you haven't tried yet and spin the Token Machine until the desired charm appears.

If the desired charm doesn't appear, aim for the second playthrough

If you have tried everything and the desired charm doesn't appear, load the data from step 2 to restore the token count and proceed with the story. By clearing the story and advancing to the next playthrough, the output content will change, allowing you to select different charms.

Progress to Chapter 3 from Clear Data

Progress to Chapter 3 using Clear Data

After clearing the game, you can progress to Chapter 3 quickly using the Clear Data. Save in front of the shooting range and repeat loading and selection just like in the first playthrough. The contents of the Token Machine are fixed immediately after selecting the difficulty on the game start screen, so you can select different charms through careful selection in the second playthrough.

From here on, reroll until Chapter 3

If you are not satisfied with the charms obtained in steps 7-8, load the Clear Data again and progress to Chapter 3 to change the drop table. By ignoring enemies, you can reach the shooting range in Chapter 3 in about 35 minutes. If you are not satisfied with the charms obtained in steps 7-8, load the Clear Data again and progress to Chapter 3 to change the drop table. By ignoring enemies and exploration elements, you can reach the shooting range in Chapter 3 in about 25-30 minutes.

Accessories with various special effects

Collector's Edition_Limited Bonus

Charms are accessories specifically designed for attaché cases, newly implemented in RE4. Each charm has various buff effects such as increased healing amount or increased ammo acquisition. This allows you to progress through the game with an advantage by selecting your preferred buff effect.

Increasing Attaché Case Storage

Mainly obtainable from the Token Machine

Requires 3 tokens to spin once

Charms can mainly be obtained from the Token Machine in the Shooting Range. By inserting 3 gold or silver tokens obtained from the shooting range challenges or exchanging Spinels, a random charm will be dispensed based on the ratio of the inserted tokens.
