▼2-A ▼2-B ▼2-C
▼3-A ▼3-B ▼3-C
▼4-A ▼4-B ▼4-C

1-A SG-09 R

In 1-A, it is important to deal with the Burglars who move all at once after reloading. It is easier to miss the shot when they are moving sideways, so move Leon and intercept them head-on.

Aim at the background as a marker for the dynamite

The last group of Burglars can be wiped out by shooting the dynamite of the Burglar that appears in the center of the screen. If you can't aim the dynamite properly, try aiming near the head of the Burglar on the right side of the background from the left end of the desk.

1-B【M1903】

In 1-B, the wave with three initial Burglars and one Barrel Burglar is the most challenging. It is recommended to shoot from the left to the Barrel Burglar at the center. And then, to the right to avoid missing shots due to camera control difficulties.

After reloading, Burglars will flow in from both sides of the screen. The equipped weapon, "SR M1903," has a penetration effect, so try to shoot and defeat multiple enemies at once when the targets overlap.

Aim for the head of the Barrel Burglar

In 1-B, Barrel Burglars appear hiding in barrels. Shooting the barrel by mistake will cause a loss of time and make it difficult to deal with the Burglars in time. Therefore, aim accurately and shoot only the heads that pop out of the barrels to deal with them.

1-C【 SG-09 R /M1903】

In 1-C, you need to switch between the Sniper Rifle and Handgun. Use the Sniper Rifle for long-range or when dealing with multiple targets, and use the Handgun for close-range targets or situations where shooting with the Sniper Rifle would hit the sailor.

Shoot the skulls from the first Barrel Burglar

The Barrel Burglar that appears right after the stage starts carries skulls behind the barrels. If you think you have shot all the skulls but have only destroyed six, try breaking the barrel of the first Barrel Burglar.

2-A【TMP】

To aim for an S rank in 2-A, you need to clear the stage with at least 20 seconds remaining and enter the bonus time. Since the time limit is strict, memorize when the targets appear and practice repeatedly so that you can defeat them immediately after they appear.

If the time limit is strict, it's okay to shoot the sailors

If the time limit is strict and you can't enter the bonus time, it's okay to shoot the sailors along with the targets. It's more time-efficient to shoot without avoiding the sailors, and the additional points from the bonus time can compensate for the deduction from missed shots.

2-B【 Riot Gun 】

2-B is a stage where you use a shotgun with a wide attack range. Aim for the center of the trio to earn a triple kill and efficiently eliminate the burglars.

Note that in 2-B, if you have more than 30 seconds remaining and have defeated all the burglars, you will enter the bonus time. If you can enter the bonus time, you can still achieve an S rank even if points were deducted due to missed shots. Therefore, it's recommended to quickly defeat the enemies even if you hit 2-3 sailors.

Move to the right side during reload time

The final wave of 6 burglars in 2-B is difficult to aim at from the center because the sailors get in the way. To avoid shooting the sailors, it's recommended to move Leon to the right side of the desk during reload time and shoot from an angle where the sailors have a difficult line of sight.

2-C【TMP/ Riot Gun 】

In 2-C, the wave of barrel burglars in the early stages is challenging. Since the ammo count for the TMP is strict and it's easy to run out of ammo, try to quickly pull the trigger to reduce wasted ammo or aim for the heads sticking out of the barrels while ensuring all shots will hit the target. The other burglars can be defeated in the same way as in 2-A and 2-B.

3-A【 Red 9 】

To aim for an S rank in 3-A, you need to eliminate all enemies within 10 shots of ammo and enter the bonus time. Make use of the Dynamite-carrying Burglar that appears in large numbers and detonate the dynamite to wipe out the enemies. However, in the wave with the sailors, it is recommended to defeat them one by one without detonating the dynamite to prevent point deduction.

Go to the right or left edge and shoot on the final wave

In the final wave, the Dynamite-carrying Burglar moves in a zigzag pattern towards the front of the stage. It is difficult to snipe the dynamite while it is moving horizontally, so it is recommended to move to the right or left side of the desk. Wait patiently and shoot when the Burglar moves vertically.

3-B【 Punisher 】

Just like in 3-A, to achieve an S rank in 3-B, you need to clear it within 10 shots of ammo. There is plenty of time, so aim and shoot at the moment when the Burglars line up vertically.

3-C【 Punisher 】

3-C is also a stage where you must clear it within 10 shots of ammo. Shoot when the Burglars line up vertically, and detonate the dynamite when there are as few sailors as possible to save ammo and clear the stage.

Dynamite-carrying enemies appear during the bonus time

Towards the end of the bonus time, a Dynamite-carrying Burglar appears from the right side of the last row. It is recommended to prioritize defeating them as they can help you earn a high score by clearing the Treasure Chests.

4-A【 Punisher / Riot Gun 】

To aim for an S rank in 4-A, you need to eliminate enemies within 20 shots and enter the bonus time. Make use of the Riot Gun's multiple hits and the Punisher's penetration to clear the stage while keeping the ammo count as low as possible. If you continue to make the best moves, you can clear the stage with a total of 15 shots, so it's okay as long as you have no more than 5 missed shots.

Use both weapons to defeat the final dogs

In 4-A, the difficulty lies in the final wave with 10 dogs. Use the Riot Gun to reduce their numbers while moving in the horizontal lane, and use the Punisher's penetration to defeat at least 4 of them while moving in the left lane.

4-B【 Bolt Thrower 】

The Bolt Thrower used in 4-B has a slow firing and reload speed, and its accuracy is relatively low. It's difficult to hit the target while tracking its movement, so the key to clearing the stage is to anticipate the target's movement and aim the shots accordingly.

Use Bolt Mines to defeat difficult targets

By pressing the button displayed to the left of the weapon icon, the Bolt Thrower can be switched to Bolt Mines. Use this against targets that are difficult to deal with using regular bolts, such as the barrel Burglar or the final wave near the reload time.

4-C [4 Types of Weapons]

4-C is one of the most difficult stages in the game, with a total of 100 Burglars appearing and with complex placements. If you defeat about 90 Burglars without shooting any sailors, you can aim for an S rank even without bonus time. So, try to clear the stage multiple times and gradually reduce missed shots to strategize.

Also, using only specific weapons will quickly lead to running out of ammo. It's recommended to use these three weapons: Black Tail, Stingray, and Striker. Use them evenly to prevent running out of ammo. The TMP has low accuracy and is prone to accidental shots, so it's best to use it as a backup when running out of ammo or only during the Barrel Burglar wave.

Try using mouse controls or motion sensors

4-C can be challenging to aim with a gamepad, making it difficult to fight. Switching to keyboard and mouse controls can lower the difficulty of the stage, so consider changing your control method if you have peripheral devices. Turning on the Motion Sensor Camera Mode on the DualShock controller can also be effective.

Captain Burglar +400 Burglar +200
Sailor -500 Skull +300
Parrot +300 Mad Dog +100

The shooting range is a mini-game where you can earn tokens by achieving high scores. To make it easier to update your high score, avoid shooting the Sailor which deducts points, and aim only for the Burglars and Skulls.

It's okay not to focus on headshots

In the previous Resident Evil 4, the score varied depending on which body part was shot. However, in the remake version, the score does not change regardless of where you shoot. So, you don't have to focus on headshots and it's okay to aim for the torso, which is easier to align the crosshair with.

Clear without missing any Burglars

Clear without missing any Burglars

If you clear each stage without missing any Burglars while meeting the bonus conditions, you will enter Bonus Time. Additional targets will appear which makes it easier to aim for an S rank or update your high score. So, aim to eliminate all the Burglars.

Easily eliminate all targets by shooting the dynamite

In some stages, Burglars carrying dynamite will appear. Shooting the dynamite will destroy all the surrounding targets at once, so it's good to remember this.

Memorize the patterns of appearance by playing multiple times

Memorize the appearance patterns by playing multiple times

In the shooting range, the appearance patterns of the targets are fixed for each stage. If you're having trouble aiming or collecting skulls, try going through the same stage multiple times to memorize the patterns.

If you're having difficulty achieving a high score due to missed shots or accidental hits on the sailors, choose "QUIT SHOOTING" from the menu. You can immediately interrupt the current stage.

Changing Camera Speed and Acceleration

Main Items Explanation/Recommended Settings
Camera
Maximum Speed
The maximum speed of viewpoint movementAdjust to a lower value as higher speed makes control more difficult.
Camera
Acceleration
The speed at which viewpoint movement reaches maximum speedAdjust to the middle to slightly higher value as lower acceleration makes viewpoint movement awkward.
Field of View A wider field of view makes surrounding objects easier to seeA narrower field of view makes it easier to snipe targets in the distance, so it is recommended for the Shooting Range.
Dot Display A dot is displayed at the center of the screenMakes it easier to aim without aiming down sights, so it is recommended to have it on.
Motion Sensor Camera Mode Allows manipulating the field of view by tilting the controllerEnables smooth aiming even with pad controls, but it has a strong learning curve. Toggle on/off depending on stage content and personal preference.

In shooting games, aim assist is turned off, so you need to manually aim. Adjust the camera speed and acceleration to be able to quickly manipulate the aim and target even small targets.

Weapon Customization is Unnecessary

In shooting games, you use dedicated weapons for each stage. No matter how much you customize your weapon, it won't give you an advantage. To increase your score, it is essential to adjust your aim and improve your gameplay skills.

Clear by shooting all the skulls if you have spare time

Clear by shooting all the skulls without missing any

If you have confidence in your aim and patience, aim to clear the stage by shooting all the skulls after achieving an S rank. By shooting all the skulls, including the ones that appear during the "bonus time," you can earn bonus gold tokens.

Not necessary if you're only aiming for completion

Clearing the stage by shooting all the skulls is a highly challenging element for advanced players. If you're only aiming to obtain shooting-related trophies, there is no need to aim at all the skulls.

How to Obtain the Trick Shot Trophy

Shoot the Mad Dog in 4-A with the Punisher

Shoot the Mad Dog in 4-A with Punisher

To achieve the bronze trophy "Trick Shot," it is recommended to shoot the mad dog that appears towards the end of stage 4-A with the Punisher. Aim for when the mad dog is lined up vertically in the left and right lanes, and you can easily shoot down 5 or more targets.
