Collect all the Green Time Orbs
To rack up points on the deserted island, begin by grabbing the Green Time Orbs. In Mercenaries mode, any leftover time converts to a bonus at the end, so aim to finish with as much time as you can.
Using turrets can be helpful when there are too many enemies
If you're overwhelmed by enemies, turrets can be a lifesaver. Turrets have limited ammo and can't be used once it's depleted, so reserve them for critical situations.
Do not use the turret on the second floor
It's advised not to use the second-floor turret, as it's easy to get surrounded there. The area allows ample room for enemies to flank you, making it a risky spot. If you still want to use a turret, stick to the area near the starting point.
Take down enemies with Rocket Launchers quickly
When you spot an enemy with a Rocket Launcher, act fast to eliminate them. A location with good visibility helps you see their red laser sight, making it easier to target and take them out quickly. If you're in a defensive spot, you can also wait until they come into view and use cover to block their line of sight before dealing with them.
Use Flash Grenades to Eliminate Plagas When Surrounded
Plagas move quickly and can ambush you without warning. Infected enemies also attack at a rapid pace. If you're swarmed by Plagas, neutralize them instantly with a Flash Grenade.

Recommended Spots on the Deserted Island
At the top of the stairs
On the deserted island, the top of the stairs is an ideal fighting location. Once you're up there, enemies can only approach via the stairs, making it easier to fend them off and avoid fire from Gatling Men and Rocket Launchers. For stronger enemies, feel free to use bullet rushes or explosive weapons.
If surrounded by enemies, fight after jumping down
If you find yourself cornered on the top floor, jump down briefly to regroup. After landing, position yourself with your back against the wall to fight, then seize the chance to climb back up.
Wall near the turret near the starting point
Another good spot on the deserted island is the wall next to the turret near the starting area. Enemies may occasionally appear from the turret's side, but they usually come one at a time and are easy to handle. For stronger enemies approaching head-on, using the turret for a quick takedown is a solid strategy.
Regularly replenish Ammo
When fighting close to the turret near the starting area, make sure to frequently restock your ammo. Use Flash Grenades to stun enemies, giving you a chance to collect any dropped ammo.
