Prepare at the House with the Merchant
Proceed straight from the starting point of Chapter 6 to reach the house with the Merchant. There are no supply points or save points until just before the boss battle, so make sure to prepare for combat.
It is recommended to buy the Sniper Rifle and 2x Scope
From the Merchant in Chapter 6, it is recommended to buy the Sniper Rifle and 2x Scope. The Sniper Rifle is useful in stealth combat and the boss battle required in Chapter 6, so purchasing it can lower the difficulty of the game.

Defeat Enemies Without Being Detected During the Journey

When you open the door right next to Merchant's house, a prompt will appear that lets Leon perform Stealth Kill. If you can defeat enemies without being detected as instructed, it will be easy to proceed. However, if you are detected, more enemies will appear and attack you as a group, so be careful with your stealth actions.
Flank from the Outside of the Checkpoint Area
Instead of going through the closed main gate in the Checkpoint Area, try flanking around the square from the outside. There are two enemies near the center of the square, so you can approach and defeat them without being noticed by going around from the outside.
Climb the Stairs
After defeating the enemies in the Checkpoint Area, climb the nearby stairs. You cannot enter the building from the first floor, so go up to the second floor before proceeding.
Enter the House from the Second Floor and Descend to the First Floor
Once you enter the second floor of the house, go outside and descend to the first floor. You can also descend from the staircase inside the house, but it is recommended to descend from the outside and break the key of the door so that you can enter the house from the Square as well.
Battle with the Chainsaw Sisters
When you try to take the Checkpoint Crank from the shelf on the first floor of the house, you will enter a battle with Chainsaw Sisters. Since the Chainsaw Sisters appear from the same location, it is recommended to use grenades or other explosives to knock them down together. Aim for headshots with a shotgun or sniper rifle to take them down smoothly.
Open the Main Gate and Proceed
After defeating the Chainsaw Sisters, retrieve the Checkpoint Crank. Take the crank to the main gate in the Checkpoint Area that you haven't opened yet, and open the gate to proceed.

Go through the Checkpoint Area and continue straight ahead
After passing through the Checkpoint Area, continue straight ahead for a while. There are no enemies along the way, so feel free to collect supplies and prepare for the boss battle.
The cutscene with Mendez begins
When you open the gate, a cutscene will start and a priest-like brute named Mendez will appear. You must escape from Mendez while blowing away the enemies by shooting the explosive barrels.
If Ashley is captured by Mendez
During your escape, if Ashley is captured by Mendez, it will result in an immediate GAME OVER. If you pay too much attention to the enemies along the way, Ashley may stumble and increase the chances of being captured, so try to proceed while stopping the enemies' movements with Flash Grenades, etc.
Prepare for the boss battle at the Merchant
After successfully escaping from Mendez, there is a Merchant and a save point. This will be the last Merchant before the boss battle, so make sure to upgrade your weapons properly.
Enter the building by climbing the stairs
Once you're ready, enter the building from the stairs near the Merchant. Don't forget to pick up any items that are scattered around the stairs.
Boss battle starts when you reach a designated spot inside the Slaughterhouse
When you reach a designated spot inside the Slaughterhouse, the boss battle will start automatically. Make sure to prepare beforehand by healing and reloading your gun.
Exit to the outdoors through the window after defeating the boss
After defeating Mendez, exit through the window that Ashley opened for you. There are no items in the vicinity, so you can escape immediately without any issues.
Clear the chapter by entering the castle straight ahead
After finishing the boss battle, proceed straight ahead and enter the Castle to clear Chapter 6. In the old abandoned truck along the way, you can find a Gold Token for the token machine and Accessory Red Hair for Ashley from the Treasure Chest. Don't forget to collect them!

Target the weak spot, the eyeball on his back
In the battle against Mendez, aim for the weak spot which is the eyeball on his back. Since you can't aim for it from the front, it is recommended to go upstairs and shoot the weak spot.
When he's down, quickly stab it with the Knife
When Mendez takes a certain amount of damage to his weak spot, he will be knocked down. While he's down, you can deal additional damage by using the Knife if you are close enough. So, quickly approach him after he's down and stab him with the Knife.
If he holds an explosive barrel from a distance, shoot the barrel
In his second mutation, Mendez will retreat and attack by throwing various objects. There are times when he tries to throw an explosive barrel. Shoot the barrel before it is thrown and inflict explosive damage.

Clockwork Castellan in Chapter 6 is located near the bonfire in the Valley on the way to the Checkpoint Area. It can be destroyed with a Handgun at a close distance, but if the Ammo doesn't hit, it is recommended to switch to a weapon with a Scope and destroy it.
