Up to Chapter 2: Handgun and Shotgun

Until you meet the Merchant in Chapter 2, it is recommended to mainly use the starting Handgun and the Shotgun obtained in the two-story house in Village Square. Aim for headshots and melee attacks with the Handgun, and use the Shotgun when facing multiple enemies.

Chapter 2: Walkthrough Chart

Up to Chapter 6: Sniper Rifle and Handgun

Starting from Chapter 2, it is recommended to purchase a Sniper Rifle from the Merchant and trade for Handguns such as the Punisher and Red9. The Sniper Rifle has high power and is effective for long-range sniping and boss battles. The Handgun is useful as the main weapon for regular battles, so it is recommended to upgrade to a more powerful weapon than the initial equipment.

Upgrading Weapons is OK

The obtained weapons can be upgraded at the Merchant's Tune Up menu. When selling a weapon, the money used for upgrades will be added to the resale value. So, if you don't mind losing the upgraded weapon, you can sell it to upgrade your next weapon. Since there are few situations where multiple weapons of the same type are used, prioritize upgrading your main weapon.

Sniper Rifle and Handgun Even in Chapter 10

Even after entering the Castle in Chapter 7, it is recommended to focus on using the Sniper Rifle and Handgun. After the castle, you can purchase a semi-automatic Sniper Rifle from the Merchant, so it is recommended to switch from the Bolt Thrower. For the Handgun, if you prioritize power, use the Red9, and if you prioritize ease of use, use the Blacktail.

Until you clear the game, it is recommended to progress with a reliable set of Sniper Rifle and Handgun. The Blacktail is a powerful Handgun, but you can switch to the Magnum Killer7 for situations where you want more firepower.

Weapon Enhancement Methods

Upgrading at the Merchant's Shop

Weapon upgrades can be done through the Tune Up menu at the Merchant's shop. It is recommended to prioritize upgrading frequently used weapons. Upgrading unused weapons would be pointless. Additionally, upgrading weapons requires money, so try to earn money by selling treasures or defeating enemies.

Reversing the Upgrade is Not Possible

Once a weapon is upgraded, its level cannot be lowered. However, the amount of money used for the upgrades will be added to the selling price of the weapon. Therefore, by selling the weapon, it is possible to efficiently upgrade a new one.

Upgrade Level 5 is Unlocked in Chapter 5

By progressing to Chapter 5, level 5 for all weapons is unlocked. Although the cost to reach level 5 is high, it allows for the maximum upgrade. If you have a favorite weapon, try upgrading it.

Enhancing Power and Ammo Capacity with Exclusive Upgrade Tickets

By obtaining Exclusive Upgrade Tickets through trading with the Merchant, you can upgrade your favorite weapon with exclusive perks. With these perks, you can enhance the power and ammo capacity, so give it a try if you have a favorite weapon!

Further Enhancement with Weapon Parts

Weapons can also be enhanced with Weapon Parts. By combining Parts with Weapons from the attaché case, it is possible to strengthen the performance and add new functions to the weapons. These Parts can be obtained by picking them up in the field, purchasing them from the Merchant, or exchanging them with Spinel.
