The LE 5 is a penetrating submachine gun. Penetration is effective when enemies are overlapping, so it is recommended to use it in a melee with many enemies.
LE 5 is inferior to TMP in the final upgrade. However, since the initial stats is high, it can still demonstrate a certain degree of satisfacotry performance without strengthening. If you haven't strengthened your TMP, use it later in the story.
