Ice Cap is a monster that appears in Snowdin. Regardless of the route, you will encounter it in battle. If you are aiming for the Pacifist route, you need to spare it. If you are aiming for the Genocide route, you must defeat it.

Move Left and Right to Dodge

Ice Cap attacks in two patterns: wave attacks and attacks from its hat. Both require some vertical movement, but you can dodge them by moving left and right.
How to Spare Ice Cap
| Choose Ignore twice to avoid Ice Cap's attack |
| Choose Steal after choosing Ignore twice to transform into Ice to spare it |
Choose Ignore Twice
To avoid Ice Cap, choose Ignore twice. After ignoring it twice, you will be able to spare Ice Cap.
Transform Ice Cap into Ice
After choosing Ignore twice on Ice Cap, choose Steal to make Ice Cap into Ice without its hat. Ice will not attack the protagonist and can be spared immediately.
