Meaning and Difficulty of the P Route
True Pacifist Route

The P Route is an abbreviation for the True Pacifist Route, which means the route of a peacemaker - a true pacifist. In this route, you reach the ending without defeating any monsters or bosses. You can progress by choosing "Spare" or "Run Away" instead of attacking during battles.
Conditions to Progress Through the P Route

| Clear the N Route at least once |
| Trigger the Friendship (Date) Events |
| Go to the True Laboratory |
Do Not Defeat Any Monsters or Bosses
The condition to progress through the P Route is to not defeat any monsters or bosses. If you defeat even one, it will lead to the N Route.
Clear the N Route At Least Once
To proceed to the P Route, you must clear the N Route at least once. Additionally, if you clear the N Route without defeating any monsters on the first playthrough, you will receive a hint from Flowey to proceed to the P Route at the ending.
Trigger the Friendship Events
To progress to the P Route, you must trigger the friendship events with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys without defeating any monsters or bosses. Progress through the dating events in the order of "Papyrus → Undyne → Alphys".
Go to the True Laboratory
After completing Alphys' friendship events and returning to Hotland, you will be able to go to the "True Laboratory". Once you enter the True Laboratory, the branch path leading to the P Route is complete.
