Conditions for Alphys's Date Event
| Clear the N Route at least once |
| Clear the events with Papyrus and Undyne respectively |
| Finish the Mettaton EX battle without defeating any monsters |
Clear the N Route at least once
To trigger the Alphys's date event, you must clear the N Route at least once. If you reached Flowey without defeating any monsters, you can continue your save file from just before the Asgore battle. This allows Alphys's date event to occur.
Reset if you Defeat a Monster
If you defeat one or more monsters when clearing the N Route, you need to start over from scratch. Try to proceed without defeating any monsters, including Mettaton EX.
Clear Undyne's Date Event
To trigger the Alphys's date event , first clear Undyne's date event . Undyne's date event occurs when you clear the events with Papyrus and give water to Undyne towards the end of the Undyne battle.

Clearing the Mettaton EX Battle Without Defeating Him
To trigger the date event with Alphys, you need to clear the battle with Mettaton EX without defeating him. Not only Mettaton EX, but you also need to avoid defeating any monsters before the Mettaton EX battle.

Receive a Phone Call from Undyne at CORE
If you have fulfilled all the conditions for Alphys's date event, you will receive a phone call from Undyne when trying to enter the MTT Resort from CORE. As mentioned in Undyne's phone call, head to Snowdin.
Receive a Letter in Snowdin
As mentioned in Undyne's phone call, go to Snowdin and talk to Undyne who is standing in front of Papyrus's house. When you talk to her, she will give you a letter addressed to Alphys.
Where you Receive the Letter changes depending on the Timing of the Date Event
The location where you receive the letter addressed to Alphys changes depending on the timing of Undyne's friendship event. If you have fulfilled the conditions for Alphys's friendship event immediately after clearing Undyne's event, you can receive the letter directly in front of Undyne's house instead of Snowdin.
Deliver the Letter to the Lab to Start the Date
After receiving the letter, go to LEFT1F in Hotland and deliver the Letter to the Lab. Insert the Letter into the gap of the lab entrance door, and Alphys will come out of the lab to start the date event.
Choose your Favorite Option to Complete the Date
The date event with Alphys progresses only through conversation events. You can choose any option without any problem, so choose your favorite option and complete the date.
Return to the Lab after Completing the Date
After finishing the date with Alphys, you will resume from the Garbage Dump in Waterfall. When you try to leave the Garbage Dump, you will receive a phone call from Papyrus. He instructs you to go to Alphys's laboratory so go there. You will now be able to go to the True Laboratory, which opens up the True Pacifist route.
