N Route and P Route Best Equipment
Temmie Armor

Temmie Armor is the strongest armor in both the N Route and P Route. Not only does it have a high defense, it also has high attack power bonus, an extended invincibility time effect, and buff to HP recovery. Although it is quite expensive, it is still worth obtaining.

Burnt Pan

Burnt Pan has lower attack power than the Worn Dagger, but when equipped, it increases the effect of recovery items by an additional 4 HP when used. It is recommended as a weapon for the P Route, where attacking monsters is not necessary and high recovery effects are valuable.

Worn Dagger

The Worn Dagger boasts the highest attack power out of all weapons available in the N and P routes. Though lacking special effects, it is best used when challenging bosses like Asgore and Flowey in the N route.

G Route Strongest Equipment (Undyne Battle)
Ballet Shoes

| Where to Obtain | Found in the grassy area in Waterfall |
Ballet Shoes are weapons that increase attack power in exchange for changing the mechanic of your attack. The Ballet Shoes provide the highest damage boost until the Undyne the Undying battle in the G Route. To defeat Undyne the Undying in the minimum number of turns, make sure to pick up the Ballet Shoes in Waterfall.

Cloudy Glasses

Cloudy Glasses are armor that can be purchased at Gerson's Shop in Waterfall. Equipping Cloudy Glasses extends the invincibility time after taking damage, making it harder to continuously take damage from Undyne's attacks. In order to reduce damage taken even slightly, purchase and equip Cloudy Glasses before the Undyne battle.

G Route Strongest Equipment (Sans Battle)

The attack power of Burnt Pan is lower than Worn Dagger, but it increases healing of recovery items by 4 when they are consumed. Sans, the final boss of the G Route, will miss all his attacks except for the last one, so the attack power boost is not really necessary.

Cloudy Glasses

Since the damage received from Sans' attacks remains the same regardless of the armor used, it is recommended to equip Cloudy Glasses to extend the invincibility time instead.
