Glyde is a hidden monster that appears in Snowdin. It will appear as long as the conditions are met before the Papyrus battle, regardless of the route.

Keep Moving in Front of the Mysterious Door for About 3 minutes

Glyde will appear if you keep moving in front of the mysterious door located below the cliff in Snowdin for about 3 minutes. However, it won't appear if you've fought Papyrus, so make sure to head there before the Papyrus battle.

Appearance in the Mysterious Door Inside the Cave Below the Cliff

The mysterious door where Glyde appears is located inside the cave below the cliff. After solving the puzzle and passing through the forest, go down below Sans instead of going right.

Tips for Glyde Battle Strategy

Use Recovery Items Early

Since Glyde has high attack power, it is best to avoid taking damage or you will lose quickly. Use recovery items early and try to defeat it in one battle.

Glyde's Attack Patterns

Glyde only has two attack patterns attacks. You can distinguish the two apart by the presence or absence of a large cross. The small cross hurst more, so be sure to avoid it the most or else quickly recover your HP.

To spare Glyde, use the actions Applaud twice and Nothing thrice in order. Just like with other monsters, if you defeat Glyde, you won't be able to proceed on the P route.
