Asriel's Basic Information

A Strong Boss i n the Pacifist Route at New Home

Asriel is the boss you encounter at the deepest part of New Home in the Pacifist Route. After completing the True Laboratory, which confirms the Pacifist Route, the battle with Asriel begins after an event.

Tips for Beating Asriel Battle

Progress Turns with Actions

Asriel Dreemurr cannot be hit by any attacks, so repeat actions while avoiding attacks to move the number of turns forward.

Additionally, in the Asriel battle, you can revive on the spot no matter how many times you are defeated, so it's not a problem if you can't avoid attacks completely.

Increase Defense with Hope

In the first form of Asriel Dreemurr, you can choose "Hope" and "Dream" using Actions. With "Hope," you can increase your own durability for the turn you used it.

Obtain Recovery Items with Dream

When you use "Dream" as an Action, a recovery item called "Dream" will be added to your items. Unlike other bosses, in the Asriel battle, you can progress while obtaining recovery items.

In the Second Form, Repeat the Action Struggle

After about 10 turns in the Asriel battle, Asriel will transform into the second form. After transforming, repeat the action "Struggle" while avoiding Asriel's attacks.

Revive the Main Characters with Revive

After repeating "Struggle" for a few turns, the action will change to "Revive." Choose "Revive" and revive the main characters, Asgore and the others, who have become lost souls. Select commands in actions 3-4 times, and the 6 characters will be revived.

Repeat Revival to End the Battle

After reviving the six main characters, Asgore, continue selecting "someone else" or "Asriel Dreemurr" to bring the battle with Asriel to an end. As you repeat the revival, Asriel's attacks will no longer hit, and the battle will conclude.

How to Spare Asriel

Choose Whichever Option You Like for the Final Choice

After the battle with Asriel, you will be given the choice of "Forgive" or "Don't Forgive". Choosing either option will change the conversation, but it will not have a significant impact on the ending. So choose whichever option you prefer.

Alphys' Attack Patterns

Papyrus or Sans Attack Patterns
