Key Points for Progressing in the N Route

Make Sure You Don't Leave Anything Unfinished in the Ruins
To clear the Ruins, you need to pass through the gate after defeating Toriel. Once you pass through the gate, you won't be able to return to the Ruins, so be careful not to leave anything unfinished.

Defeat At Least One Monster or Toriel
To progress in the N Route, you need to defeat at least one monster or Toriel. However, if you defeat all the monsters and Toriel, there's a possibility of entering the G Route.

Talk to Flowey

As you move along the path, you will encounter a flower-looking monster named Flowey. A battle screen will appear but it is only a tutorial. Let Flowey attack you and continue the conversation.
Solve Puzzle 1

| 1 | Fall into the pit and go to the lower floor |
| 2 | Go through the entrance in the upper right corner |
To solve Puzzle 1, choose any spot and fall into the pit to reach the lower floor. Enter the entrance located in the upper right corner to clear the puzzle. Proceed to the right and challenge the next puzzle.
Solve Puzzle 2

To solve Puzzle 2, push the rock to the right and move it onto the switch. You can move the rock by inputting right on the L stick from the left side of the rock.
Solve Puzzle 3

| 1 | Navigate without stepping on the maple leaves on the lower floor |
Puzzle 3 consists of two layers, upper and lower. To clear the puzzle, navigate through the path on the upper floor without stepping on the maple leaves on the lower floor. Even if you fall, you can return through the upper left entrance.

To solve Puzzle 4,move the rock onto the switch similar to Puzzle 2. However, the bottom rock is special and requires multiple conversations to move it.

To proceed forward, move Napstablook. Choose "Yes" when prompted with the option "Forcefully Move?". Either defeat it or encourage it 4 times to proceed.

The Spider Sweets' effect is essential to end the upcoming battle with Muffet. Therefore, if you have enough G, it is recommended to buy at least one of them to make the Neutral Route walkthrough easier.

Solving Puzzle 5

| 1 | Drop down from the middle top to the bottom. Press the switch |
Puzzle 5 is composed of two layers, just like Puzzle 3. To clear it, you need to press the switch on the lower floor. Additionally, if you drop down from the bottom left, you can obtain the equipment item "Faded Ribbon".

Puzzle 6 is composed of four areas. To clear it, you need to press the buttons of the colors written on the signs. To solve the puzzles in Areas 2 and 4, remember the entrance and button placement in Area 1, and search for the locations of each button from the perspective of the entrances of Areas 2 and 4.

To clear the Toriel battle, you can either defeat or spare Toriel. The choice you make will affect the future story, but both options will allow you to clear the battle. Choose whichever you prefer.
