Prepare Healing Items Before Proceeding

Screenshot of using items during Asgore battle

It is recommended to prepare healing items before engaging in the two-part battle with New Home's boss. You can only use healing items during the Asgore battle, but it is a good idea to go back to CORE, Waterfall, or Snowdin to restock.

New Home N Route Walkthrough

Proceed Straight to the New Home Building

Do not take the elevator, go right

After leaving the CORE, continue straight ahead towards New Home. Along the way, you will come across an elevator, but you cannot ride it initially. It is recommended to ignore it and continue to the right.

Obtain the Keys in the Kitchen and the Hallway

Kitchen Hallway
Obtain the key in the Kitchen Obtain the key in the hallway

Upon entering New Home, you will find that the staircase is locked and you cannot proceed. By reading the Key memo, you will find the locations of the keys in the Kitchen and the Hallway. Retrieve the keys from the Kitchen and the Hallway.

Monsters Will Appear, But There Won't Be Any Battles

In New Home, monsters will appear as you progress. However, these monsters will only engage in conversation about the past and there won't be any battles. Enjoy the story.

Obtain Items in the Leftmost Room of the Hallway

Heart Locket Worn Dagger
Heart Locket Worn Dagger

Upon entering the leftmost room in the hallway, you can obtain the items "Heart Locket" and "Worn Dagger". Both are powerful, so make sure to acquire them and equip them. If your inventory is full, it is recommended to use the dimensional box to organize your items.

Unlock the Chain and Descend the Staircase

Descend the staircase

Use the keys found in the Kitchen and the Hallway to unlock the chain and descend the staircase. Once you have descended the staircase, simply continue straight ahead until you reach the location with the elevator.

Do Not Take the Elevator, Go Down

Go down

Do not take the elevator to go down after reaching its location; go down instead. The elevators along the way are connected to the save point. If you don't have recovery items, it's recommended to go back to other areas before the Asgore battle and buy some.

Judgment Event With Sans at the Last Corridor

Sans's judgment

At the Last Corridor, there will be a judgment event with Sans. There will be explanations about "LV" and "EXP", but it will only be a conversation event. You won't have to fight Sans. After the judgment event, proceed further and head to the CORE.

Battle Against Asgore

Asgore battle

Upon entering the CORE, a conversation event with Asgore will occur. After the conversation event, proceed to the save point at the end of CORE and enter the adjacent room to battle against Asgore. Since Asgore destroys the "Fight" command at the beginning, the only option is to defeat him using the "Spare" command.

Lower Asgore's Abilities With the Butterscotch Pie

Using the "Butterscotch Pie" obtained in the Ruins during the Asgore battle will lower Asgore's attack and defense. If you have been saving it, use it during the Asgore battle.

Choose Your Preferred Option for Your Final Choice Against Asgore

After depleting Asgore's HP, the options "Fight" and "Spare" will appear. The outcome remains the same regardless of which option you choose, Asgore will be defeated. Therefore, choose your preferred option.

Asgore's Strategy and Attack Patterns

Battle Against Photoshop Flowey

Photoshop Flowey

After defeating Asgore, Flowey appears and becomes the final boss, "Photoshop Flowey." Photoshop Flowey will begin attacking relentlessly. Avoid Flowey's one-sided attacks and use the "Act" command to call for help and heal during each of the six soul phases, consuming turns.

Once all six soul phases are completed, Flowey's defense will be reduced to 0. The "Fight" command and green healing items will become available, so continue to avoid Flowey's attacks and use "Fight" to deplete Flowey's health.

Choose Your Preferred Option for Your Final Choice Against Photoshop Flowey

After battling Photoshop Flowey, the options "Fight" and "Spare" will appear. The conversation content will vary depending on the choice, but either option will lead to the ending. Choose your preferred option.
