To progress in the G Route in Hotland, you need to defeat a total of 40 monsters, including bosses like Muffet. Fortunately, you can combine the monster kill count with the next area, CORE, so not all 40 must be in Hotland for the G Route.

Only Defeat Encounters while Moving

In the Genocide Route, the number of kills required in Hotland will be combined with the kills in the next area named CORE. Therefore, there is no need toreset the kill count in Hotland to 0 once you reach CORE. Just defeat all monsters you encounter in Hotland and continue this in CORE.

Things to Do in Hotland - Genocide Route

Collect Strong Healing Items

In Hotland, get strong healing items from the fridge in the Laboratory and MTT-Brand Burger Emporium. They're not essential when exploring Hotland and CORE but are very helpful in the final area for the Sans battle.

Directions to the Royal Guard Battle

Proceed Straight Ahead Until Entering the Building

After defeating Undyne, continue straight ahead and you will reach an area resembling a volcano. Proceed to the right in the volcano area, and you will see a white building. Keep going and enter the building. This building is called the Laboratory.

Obtain Instant Noodles from the Refrigerator

You can get Instant Noodles from the refrigerator in Alphys's Lab. It is a valuable item that can greatly restore HP when used in the Sans battle. Be sure to collect and save it until the Sans battle.

Obtain and Equip Burnt Pan

You can get the Burnt Pan by going down to the bottom right from the Magma Chamber save point. It is a strong weapon that adds 10 Attack points and increases the healing effect of consumable items by 4 when used. Be sure to pickit up and equip it.

Defeating Two Royal Guards

After picking up the Burnt Pan, continue upwards in Hotland to fight the two Royal Guards. Both Royal Guards have low HP and can be defeated with a single attack.

Directiosn to the Muffet Battle

Proceed Straight and take the Elevator to LEFT3 Floor

Proceed straight after defeating the two Royal Guards and head towards the kitchen. Continue further after passing through the kitchen and you will reach the farthest area where you can take the elevator. Select LEFT3 floor to move to the location of the next boss.

Cross the Platforms and Move to the Next Area

After moving to LEFT3 floor, continue straight and you will enter an area with a large number of platforms with vents. The next area you need to go to is on the right side. Move across the platforms in the order of: Right, Up, Right, Down, Down, Right, Right, Right, Up, Right. Advance to the area and you will find Muffet.

Defeat Muffet

Past the area with the vent-filled platforms, you will enter an area covered in spider webs where Muffet appears.Just like the Royal Guards, Muffet is a boss that can be defeated in one hit. So, there is no special preparation needed for the battle. Defeat her with the Burnt Pan and proceed further.

Proceed Straight and Move towards the CORE

After defeating Muffet, proceed straight and move towards the next area, which is the CORE. The kill count in Hotland's G Route can be combined with the kill count in the CORE, so there is no need to reset the kill count to 0 before entering the CORE.
