Things to Do in G Route's New Home Area

Defeat the Final Boss, Sans

In New Home, there are no enemy encounters, except for the battle against Sans. There is nothing else to do but focus all your efforts on this ultimate challenge. This is both the most difficult and the easiest enemy you'll face.

1	Prepare the items that will give you an advantage in the Sans battle
2	Pick up keys in the Hallway and Kitchen of New Home and proceed forward
3	Proceed while talking to Flowey
4	Save in the final corridor and defeat Sans
5	Defeat Asgore and Flowey
6	Choose freely in the character selection

Prepare For the Sans Battle

Before proceeding further in New Home, prepare for the Sans battle. The items used in the Sans battle can be obtained in areas before New Home, such as Hotland.

Obtain the Keys in the Right Hallway and the Room on the Left Side

Hallway Key	Kitchen Key

Once you enter New Home, immediately obtain the keys in the hallway to the right and the kitchen on the left side. While moving, you will encounter Flowey, but it will not lead to a battle.

Open the Door and Proceed While Talking to Flowey

G Route New Home

Once you have obtained two keys, open the central door in New Home and descend to the underground. After opening the door, proceed straight while talking to Flowey. When you reach the colored hallway, you will enter a battle with the final boss, "Sans".

Once you reach the final corridor, you will face the boss battle with Sans. Sans' attacks are often unexpected and deadly, but they follow a pattern. Instead of trying to forcefully break through with high damage, focus on learning how to dodge each attack.

Changes in the G Route in New Home

Present	When you examine the presents in New Home, you can obtain the "Real Knife" and "The Locket".
Padlock	When you examine the padlock the first time, a red text will be displayed saying "He leaves them in the kitchen and the hallway," as if you have visited New Home before. Examine it a second time to see the text "There are two keys." Finally, when it unlocks, it says "I unlocked the chain."
Encounter	The encounters along the way will be with Flowey instead of monsters. Additionally, the conversations will change from old stories to Flowey's stories.
Bookshelf Closet	Red text will be displayed saying "Nothing useful."
Refrigerator	Red text will be displayed saying "No chocolate."
Golden Flower Drawing	Red text will be displayed saying "My drawing."
Asgore's Dresser	Red text will be displayed saying "Still has that sweater"
Shelf behind the Padlock	Red text will display the date the protagonist came in the house.
Judgment	During Sans's judgment, you will have a battle with Sans.
Ending	After clearing the G Route, the endings for both the P Route and G Route will change.
