Branching Conditions for N Route Ending

Killing specific boss monsters
Total number of monster kills
Becoming friends with specific boss monsters

Changes Whether You Spared or Killed Monsters and Bosses

Sparing Toriel

The ending of the N Route changes the final conversation based on the number of defeated monsters, including bosses. Different endings like Friendship Ending and Dog Ending exist. To achieve a specific ending, meet conditions like defeating particular monsters or reaching a specific kill count before reaching the conclusion.

Asgore and Flowey are Not Included

The branching conditions for the N Route ending are based on the number of defeated monsters, including bosses except Asgore. Similarly, Flowey, who you only fight in the first playthrough, is also not included in the branching ending conditions. Defeat them to clear the story.

No Impact on Previous Playthroughs or Other Route Branching Conditions

The N Route ending does not affect the branching conditions for the P Route or G Route, regardless of which branching conditions you play with. If you want to branch into the P Route or G Route, you need to fulfill the respective conditions from Ruins to New Home.

Changes Based on Actions after Becoming Friends or During Friendship

Ending the battle ends the date event

The N Route ending has minor changes depending on your friendships with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys. The ending can also vary based on actions taken after befriending Undyne, such as killing monsters.
