Notes on Progressing in Ruins in the P Route
| Do not defeat any monsters, including Toriel |
| Make sure to not leave anything unfinished in the Ruins |
Do Not Defeat Any Monsters, Including Toriel
To progress in the P Route, you must not defeat any monsters, including Toriel. If you defeat any monster, and gain 1 or more EXP, and increase your Lv to 1 or higher, you will not be able to proceed in the P Route and will be forced into the N Route.

Make Sure to Not Leave Anything Unfinished in the Ruins
Once you have completed the battle with Toriel and pass through the gate, the Ruins area will be cleared. However, once you pass through the gate, you will not be able to return to the Ruins, so be careful not to leave anything unfinished.

Talk to Flowey

As you move along the path, you will start a conversation with Flowey. The battle screen will appear, but it's a tutorial, so let Flowey attack you and continue the conversation.
Solve Puzzle 1

To solve Puzzle 1, just walk forward and let yourself fall into the lower floor. Then, go through the upper right entryway to clear the puzzle. Proceed right and challenge the next puzzle.
Solve Puzzle 2

To solve Puzzle 2, push the rock to the right and move it onto the switch. You can move the rock by pushing it from the left side.
Solve Puzzle 3

| 1 | Navigate without stepping on the Maple Leaves on the Lower Floor |
Puzzle 3 consists of two layers, Upper and Lower. You have to follow the path not covered by the Maple Leaves at the Lower Floor. To learn where the Maple Leaves are located, let yourself fall through the cracked floor. Then, navigate through the path without stepping on the Maple Leaves. Return to the Upper Floor by entering the upper left entrance. Now follow the same path you took at the Lower Floor.
Solve Puzzle 4

To solve Puzzle 4, just like Puzzle 2, move the rocks onto the switch. The bottom rock is special and requires multiple conversations to move it.
Moving Napstablook

In order to proceed, let's move Napstablook. Choose Yes when prompted with the option "Move with force?" and Cheer it 4 times to proceed.

Buy a Spider Donut or Spider Cider

Using a Spider Donut or Spider Cider immediately ends the Muffet battle. Therefore, if you have enough G, it is recommended to buy at least one of them to make the Pacifist route easier to achieve.
Solving Puzzle 5

| 1 | Drop down from the middle top spot to reach the lower floor and then press the switch |
Puzzle 5 is composed of two layers, just like Puzzle 3. To clear it, you need to press the switch on the lower floor. Additionally, if you drop down from the bottom left, you can obtain the item called Faded Ribbon.
Solving Puzzle 6

| 3 | Enter Area 4 and press the Green Switch behind the upper pillar |
Puzzle 6 is composed of four areas, and to clear it, you need to press the buttons of the colors written on the signs. To solve the puzzles in Areas 2 and 4, remember the entrance and button placements in Area 1. Then, search for the locations of each button from the perspective of the entrances of Areas 2 and 4.
Fighting Toriel

| Keep selecting Spare |
To clear the Toriel Battle, you need to spare Toriel instead of defeating her. Avoid Toriel's attacks and keep selecting Spare from the ACT menu. If you defeat Toriel, you will deviate from the Pacifist route and enter the Neutral route.
