Jerry is a monster that appears in Snowdin. Regardless of the route you choose, you will encounter him in battle. If you are aiming for the Pacifist Route, you need to spare him. If you are aiming for the Genocide Route, you must defeat him.

Spare Other Monsters First
Jerry is a non-hostile monster, but he appears alongside other monsters. Before sparing Jerry, make sure to spare the other monsters that appear with him. The other monsters are Chilldrake, Ice Cap, and Snowdrake.

How to Let Jerry Escape
Use Ditch when Jerry is alone
To let Jerry escape, select the Ditch action when Jerry is the only monster left. If you select Ditch while the other monsters are still present, Jerry will revive after a few turns. When Jerry is the only one left, the protagonist will retreat, and the battle will end.
