What is Pre-release content?
Function to download content in advance
Pre-release content is a system that allows you to download upcoming content in advance. You can download events, new characters, and character adjustment updates that will be added in future updates.
It is recommended to finish before the release date
It is recommended to download the Pre-release content before the release date in order to play OW2 smoothly. If you finish the pre-download while you are unable to play OW2 due to work or during sleep, you won't have to wait for the download on the day of the update.

Downloading Pre-release Content

| 2 | Click on "Download Pre-release content" located at the bottom left of the screen to complete the process |
Speed up Downloads by Changing Settings

| 1 | Press the Battle.net logo on the waiting screen to open the menu |
| 2 | Select "Settings" from the menu |
| 3 | Click on "Download" within the "Settings" |
| 4 | Uncheck "Pre-release content" under the "Network Bandwidth" section |

There is a default speed limit when trying to download Pre-release content. Make sure to change the settings properly to download without any setbacks.
Start by Opening Battle.net
Open the Battle.net application and change the download settings. The Battle.net logo is located in the top left corner of the screen, so click on it to open the settings.
Remove Download Speed Limit
Within the settings, find the "Network Bandwidth" section and remove the speed limit. By unchecking "Pre-release content," you will no longer have any speed restrictions and can enjoy a comfortable download experience.
