Clear High Ground Enemies with Aerial Attacks

As Echo, take to the sky to eliminate high ground enemies and gain a strategic advantage. If opponents control the high ground, your team is at a disadvantage. Echo's flight ability allows for surprise attacks from above, applying pressure and enabling your team to support by displacing enemies from elevated positions.

Mindful Flying in No-Sightline Areas

Exercise caution when flying as Echo, especially in areas lacking sightlines. Given Echo's sizable hitbox, flying within the sightlines of medium-range specialists like Soldier or Cassidy puts her at risk of being quickly eliminated. Utilize cover and buildings to move safely and approach enemies without exposing yourself.

Let Teammates Lead Point Entry

Allow your teammates to take the lead in entering the point when playing as Echo. With her substantial hitbox, engaging enemies directly on the point increases the likelihood of being targeted and shot down. Instead, focus on dealing damage from a distance or eliminating foes before they reach the point, maximizing your effectiveness in engagements.

Countermeasures

Widowmaker Counters Echo Effectively

Widowmaker serves as a strong counterpick to Echo. Echo's vulnerability during surprise attacks from above is exploited by Widowmaker's immediate and precise attacks. Widowmaker's ability to eliminate Echo with a single headshot further solidifies her effectiveness as a counterpick.

Choose Characters with Less Impact When Copied

Facing an enemy Echo requires strategic thinking, especially considering her ultimate ability, Duplicate. To minimize the impact of Echo copying a character, it is recommended to engage with heroes like Ashe, whose abilities may have less influence when duplicated.

Enhance Disruption with Coordination

Echo synergizes effectively with disruptor characters like Winston and Wrecking Ball, forming a dynamic duo that excels at causing chaos in the enemy's backline. These tank heroes, with their ability to dive into the midst of the enemy, create opportunities for Echo to capitalize on the resulting disruption. Echo's aerial mobility allows her to fly in, launch surprise attacks, and contribute to the overall chaos, making it challenging for the enemy to coordinate their defenses. This coordinated disruption strategy can lead to more successful takedowns and increased team effectiveness.

Sticky Bombs

Prioritize tanks first

Prioritize your Sticky Bombs against tanks. It's difficult to attach them to enemies due to their slow bullet speed, but tanks are easier to hit due to their large hitboxes. If you manage to hit all the bombs, you can deal 180 damage, so it's recommended to prioritize killing tanks first.

Aim for the enemy's feet

Aim for the enemy's feet with Sticky Bombs. It's difficult to attach them to characters other than tanks, so instead of directly hitting them, it's recommended to scatter them around the enemy's feet and reduce their HP with area damage.

Flight

Use Flight after jumping to fly up into the air

After jumping, use Flight to quickly fly up into the air. As Echo, you can surprise attack enemies from above, so use Flight after jumping to quickly ascend and launch your offense from above.

Can also be used as an emergency evasion measure

Flight can also be used as an emergency evasion measure. When used, it allows you to swiftly move in the direction you choose and freely maneuver up, down, left, and right. When being approached by enemies, it is important to move away from them and avoid attacks.

Focusing Beam

Use it as a finishing blow

Use Focusing Beam to finish off enemies. The firepower of Focusing Beam is low when the enemy's health is above half, so use primary fire or your other abilities to bring the enemy's health below half. This will maximize the firepower of Focusing Beam and make it easier to defeat the enemy.

Destroy the enemy barriers

Use Focusing Beam to destroy enemy barriers. Focusing Beam gains increased firepower against enemies with less than half health, and this increase applies to the durability of barriers as well. When the barrier is at half durability, it can deal up to 350 damage, so it is recommended to destroy the enemy barriers to weaken tank defenses.

【ULT】Duplicate

Copying Enemy Tanks

When employing Duplicate, it's advisable to target enemy tanks. They boast high defensive capabilities, and many feature potent characters with mobility hindrances and stun abilities, such as Zarya, Sigma, and Reinhardt. Actively copying them proves to be a strategic move.

Note that HP does not Increase Beyond 300

During Duplicate, be mindful that even if you replicate an enemy tank, your HP will not exceed 300. While you gain armor values and shields, charging into the enemy as you would with a typical tank carries the risk of immediate cancellation. Exercise caution with your HP management when utilizing Duplicate.
