Rules of Escort Mode

Escort the Payload to the Goal

Escort mode is a game mode where teams are divided into the attacking team and the defending team, competing to advance the payload. The attacking team wins if the payload reaches the goal, while the defending team wins if they prevent the payload from reaching the goal within the time limit.

Overtime when the attacking team is near the payload

Even if the time limit has passed, if the attacking team remains near the payload, the game enters overtime. Overtime ends when all members of the attacking team are defeated or pushed away, and the movement of the payload is stopped.

Game Flow

Flow until the outcome is determined
1 Attackers: Approach the payload and advance towards the goal
Defenders: Endure until the time limit is reached
2 When reaching a checkpoint, the minimum position to which the payload returns is updated
3 If the attackers escort the payload to the goal within the time limit, attackers win. If they fail to do so, defenders win.

Escorting the Payload to the Goal

Escorting the payload to the goal

The attacking team's objective is to move the payload and escort it to the goal. The payload moves forward when there is at least one member of the attacking team nearby. However, it stops when the defending team gets close, and slowly moves back to the midpoint or Area A when the attacking team moves away.

Defenders must defeat the attacking team

The defending team must defeat the attacking team and push back the payload. The progress is halted just by being around the payload, and it is also possible to make it move back by moving away from the payload.

Strategies for Winning

For Tanks

Strategies for Tanks
Take position near the area or payload to create a frontline
Deploy barriers or obstacles to protect teammates behind

Establish a Frontline and Steer the Payload

Tanks play a crucial role by positioning themselves near the payload to fend off enemy attacks. Certain characters can venture ahead, disrupting the enemy's formation, or pick off support heroes attempting to approach recklessly, thereby delaying the enemy's advance.

Close in on the Payload during Defense

When playing as a tank on the defensive team, make a conscious effort to engage in battles as close to the payload as possible. As long as at least one defending team member is in proximity, the payload remains stationary, allowing you to buy valuable time by simply engaging in nearby combat.

For Damage Heroes

Strategies for Damage Heroes
Defeat enemies around the payload to gain control
Eliminate support characters in the back to gain an advantage

Eliminate Enemies around the Payload

For damage heroes, irrespective of the team, the primary objective is to eliminate enemies surrounding the payload and secure its control. Once the payload is secured, it's crucial for tanks and other heroes to position themselves at the forefront, preventing opponents from approaching the payload.

Ambush and Neutralize Support Characters in the Backline

A strategic approach involves flanking and swiftly taking out enemy supports while remaining undetected. Depriving the enemy team of healing resources not only hastens the elimination of other foes but also contributes to efficiently weakening the opposing team.

For Supports

Strategies for Supports
Heal teammates and maintain the frontline
Adapt to teammates' movements and continue healing

Prioritize Healing

Supports should prioritize healing damage and tank heroes, remaining close to the payload area to offer continuous support. Moreover, when facing assaults from enemy damage, requesting assistance and turning the tables can create a significant advantage.
