Reasons for Account Integration
To Transfer OW Data to OW2
Account integration is necessary to transfer Overwatch data to Overwatch 2. Since Overwatch 2 manages data through battle.net, it is necessary to consolidate skins, records, ranks, and other data into one account.

Create a battle.net account
Before integrating accounts, open the official website on your PC or smartphone and create a battle.net account. If you already play the PC version, you can use the account you already have.

Linking accounts during startup
Start Overwatch 2 on each platform and enter the displayed linking code or scan the QR code using the app to link your battle.net account. Once successfully completed, you can start playing while being linked.

To check the status of your integrated account, first log in to the Overwatch 2 official website. After logging in, open the account settings and navigate to the section for battle.net account settings.

Once you're in the settings screen, choose "Connections" from the left menu. The currently connected account will be displayed, allowing you to confirm which account you are using.

What to do if your account is not detected?
Manually link your console account to Battle.net
If your account is not detected, you will need to manually link your console account to Battle.net. To do this, you will need a mobile phone, so make sure to prepare in advance.

Which platforms are supported for account integration?
There are four supported platforms
The platforms that are eligible for account integration are Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Once integrated, you can play on any platform with a single account.
Can multiple accounts be linked?
Only one account can be linked
Only one account can be linked per platform. Even if you have two accounts on PC, you cannot integrate them. The same applies to having multiple accounts on Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch.
Can the account linkage with consoles be undone?
It can be undone, but there is a one-year waiting period
You can unlink your Battle.net account at any time. However, there is a one-year waiting period to link a new account to your Battle.net account.
What happens if I don't merge my console accounts?
Unable to play Overwatch 2
If you don't confirm the account merge in the game, a screen indicating the linked account will continue to be displayed, prompting you to approve the merge. As a result, if you don't merge your accounts, you won't be able to play the game.
What happens to in-game items?
They will be merged into one Battle.net account
All hero and gallery items will be saved in the merged Battle.net account. Any duplicate items across platforms will be merged into one Battle.net account.
What happens to skill rating?
Separate pools for console and PC
Competitive Play and skill rating will have separate pools for PC and console. If you merge multiple console accounts, the highest skill rating will be applied.
How are statistics merged?
Statistics are separated for PC and console
Statistics are separated into separate pools for PC and console. If you merge multiple console accounts, the total values of playtime and wins will be combined. For individual hero statistics such as accuracy and highest kill streak, the highest values from the merged console accounts will be applied.
What happens to endorsement level?
The highest level within the account will be applied
The highest endorsement level within the merged accounts will be applied.
What happens to Hero Points?
They will be combined and renamed as Legacy Points
Hero Points in "Overwatch" will be combined after the account merge. After the merge, they will be renamed as "Legacy Points".
What happens to League Tokens?
They will be combined after the merge
League Tokens will be combined after the account merge. If you don't merge your accounts, the console account's League Tokens will not be transferred to Overwatch 2.
What happens to Treasure Boxes?
Acquired boxes will be automatically opened
With the transition to Overwatch 2, acquired Treasure Boxes will be automatically opened.
What will happen to the account level?
Level display will be abolished
With the transition to Overwatch 2, the levels will be reset and the level display itself will be removed. Named cards and titles will represent the level.
