Prioritize Changing the Jump Button

Setting Button | L1 | LZL | LB |
For those playing on console versions (PS4~PS5/Switch/Xbox series), it is recommended to change the jump button to L1, L, or LB. In Overwatch, the shooting accuracy is not affected while jumping, so it is desirable to have control settings that allow aiming and jumping simultaneously while performing evasive actions.
Optionally, Assign to the R Buttons
While recommending the L buttons to consolidate movement controls on the left hand, if the L button controls don't feel comfortable, try the R buttons as well. Rather than determining which control is superior, it is most recommended to have a configuration that the player finds easy to operate.
Customize Abilities for Each Character
When playing with a controller, it is recommended to customize the button layout for Abilities depending on the character. Abilities vary in effects and usage depending on the character, so it is best to individually change the control settings to the most stable configuration that feels comfortable for the characters you frequently use.

Recommended Control Settings for PC Version
Assign Attack Buttons to the Mouse
In Overwatch, you are required to have 5-6 buttons for attacks. If you try to accommodate them on the keyboard, it becomes difficult to balance them with movement. Therefore, it is recommended to assign them to mouse buttons as much as possible. Especially if you have a mouse with many buttons, assigning all attacks to the mouse buttons allows for easier movement control with the left hand.
Align with Other FPS Games
If you have played other FPS games besides Overwatch, it is recommended to align the keyboard controls with the ones you are already familiar with. However, since jumping is more important than crouching in Overwatch, customizing the controls to make jumping more accessible will make battles easier.
How to Change Control Settings

To change the control settings, select the Options menu on the main screen. You can access the menu by pressing the Options button or the Esc key. It is recommended to change the settings while testing the actual gameplay experience in the Training mode.
