Event Rules
Victory Condition: Defeat the Bride
The conditions for "Wrath of the Bride" to be complete is to defeat Dr. Junkenstein's bride who is located at the deepest part of the map. Players must go through five bosses before reaching the bride and defeating her.
Defeat Condition: 3 Total Wipes
You and your teammates lose the challenge if you experience 3 total wipeouts on "Wrath of the Bride." If all four teammates are defeated, they can all recover their HP and fight once more. However, by the third time they wipeout, they lose the game.
LEGENDARY Difficulty: Defeat with a Single Wipe
In the highest difficulty level, LEGENDARY, a single wipeout will result in a defeat. The enemy's health and attack power are higher than other difficulty levels, making it extremely difficult to clear the event without experiencing a wipe.
Resurrection Possible After Being Downed
Difficulty/Resurrection Wait Time | |||
---|---|---|---|
STORY0 seconds | HARD10 seconds | EXPERT12 seconds | LEGEND15 seconds |
If you are defeated by an enemy, you can be resurrected after a certain amount of time. Note that the time from being defeated to being resurrected varies depending on the difficulty level.
Resurrecting on the Ally's Side by Holding the Interaction Button
To resurrect an ally, approach the fallen ally and press the interaction button that you have set. Be aware that pressing the button once will not result in resurrection, and if you do not hold it down, the resurrection will be canceled.
Movement is Possible Even When Downed
When you are down, you cannot use abilities or attack, but you can still move slowly. To make it easier for your allies to resurrect you, try to move behind cover where enemies cannot surround you or have a clear line of sight.
ULT Charge Status is Carried Over
Even when you are downed, your ULT charge status is carried over. There may be situations where you activate your ULT with low HP but get defeated immediately, so consider conserving it and planning when to activate it after resurrection.
Recommended Button Configuration and How to Set Controls |
Only the player who obtained the key can unlock it
As you progress through the Halloween Event "Wrath of the Bride" you will obtain a key and encounter a gimmick to open a door. Only one player can obtain the key, and only the player who obtained it can unlock the door. So, if you have the key, don't forget to unlock it.
Determine who has the key from the icon
You can determine who has the key from the key icon next to their name and HP on the icon. If you and your teammates are all trying to pick up the key at the same time and get confused, check the icons.
The team consists of 4 players
Selectable characters |

There will be a fixed team of 4 characters to strategize. There are no role classifications, so choose your favorite character and conquer the "Wrath of the Bride" event.
Banshee Walkthrough
Steps to Defeat Banshee | |
---|---|
1 | Meet up with allies |
2 | Gather in front of the tavern for the first enemy assault |
3 | Investigate the radio inside the tavern |
4 | Examine the gate of the castle to head towards it |
5 | Find the randomly placed keys |
6 | Boss Battle: Banshee |
Meet up with allies
After starting the game, each of the four players will start from different locations. First, aim to meet up with your allies. Note that there will be enemies along the way, so it's best to prioritize meeting up with Kiriko, who can heal your HP.
Gather in front of the tavern for the first enemy assault
Once you've met up with your allies, move to the front of the tavern. When all four players are gathered, the enemy assault will begin, with suicide robots rushing in. Deal with them efficiently and enter the tavern once the doors open.
Investigate the radio inside the tavern
Upon entering the tavern, you'll hear radio noise. When the prompt "Investigate the radio" appears on the screen, go to the radio inside the tavern and press the interact button.
Examine the gate of the castle to head towards it
After stopping the radio, return to the path leading to the tavern and head towards the castle. The gate to the castle walls is closed, so approach it and examine it.
Finding randomly placed keys
Since the gate is closed, you need to find the key to open it. When you find the key placed somewhere on the map, the first boss, Banshee (Moira), will appear and the boss battle will begin.
Tips for Banshee Strategy
Defeat the Minions First
Character | Recommended Role |
---|---|
Ashe |
・ Use Dynamite for area attacks ・ Defeat the robots with burning damage |
Sojourn |
・ Use Disruptor Shot for area attacks ・ Slow down movement speed and support in defeating the robots |
When Banshee appears, she also summons shooting robots as her minions. If left alone, the damage to the allies will increase, and Kiriko won't be able to handle it. So, it's recommended to deal with the minions quickly and focus on Banshee.
Junker Queen Disrupts ULT
Character | Recommended Role |
---|---|
Junker ・ Queen |
・ Save ULT until the Banshee fight ・ Disrupt healing with ULT according to enemy ULT |
When Banshee's health drops below a certain level, she uses her ULT Core Essence. The beam that penetrates in a straight line is troublesome, but Banshee constantly heals while using it. So, it's recommended to quickly defeat her by disrupting her healing with Junker Queen's ULT.
Take Cover Behind Obstacles During Banshee's ULT
When Banshee activates her ULT, take cover behind obstacles. The damage increases as the difficulty level rises, and even a few seconds of being hit can result in being knocked down. It's recommended to temporarily stop attacking and hide in the shadows of the central building to survive.
Gargoyle Walkthrough
Steps for Gargoyle Walkthrough | |
---|---|
1 | Proceed along the path to the castle |
2 | Boss Battle: Gargoyle |
Proceed along the path to the castle
Defeat Banshee to obtain the key and then use it to open the gate of the castle wall to continue forward. As you proceed along the path to the castle, the boss battle with Gargoyle (Winston) will begin.
Tips for Defeating 2 Gargoyles
Prioritize Defeating One Gargoyle
In the Gargoyle battle, another Gargoyle will appear over time, so focus on defeating the one with lower HP first. Gargoyles have high HP, and using their ULT ability increases their durability. It becomes difficult to defeat both Gargoyles if you evenly distribute damage to both.
Assign One Person to Deal with Spawning Enemies
In the Gargoyle battle, small enemies will constantly spawn, so assign one person to deal with them. If you only focus on the Gargoyles, you may be taken down by suicide robots or shooting robots from behind. Make sure to take down the spawning enemies one by one and not leave them unattended.
Take Positions on High Ground, Except for Tanks
Character/Access to High Ground | ||
---|---|---|
Coach Gun | Power Slide | Wall Climbing |
Except for Junker Queen, each character has a means to ascend to high ground, so fight from there. If you fight on the ground, you may be attacked by suicide robots or shock tires from behind, which can result in low HP damage and potential downs for damage and support heroes. Support Junker Queen from the high ground.
Get Gargoyle Out of the Barrier with Jagged Blade
In the Gargoyle battle, use Junker Queen's "Jagged Blade" to pull Gargoyle out of the barrier. Breaking Gargoyle's barrier takes time and if you try to break it, the minions won't be dealt with in time and your allies will be defeated first. It is recommended to use the pulling effect of Jagged Blade to get Gargoyle out of the barrier and defeat it.
Marionette Walkthrough
Steps to Defeat the Marionette | |
---|---|
1 | Proceed to the underground dungeon |
2 | Solve the puzzle of the four torches |
3 | Marionette battle |
Proceed to the Underground Dungeon
After defeating the Gargoyle, a side path to the castle will open. Proceed to the underground dungeon. Be careful as there are self-destructing robots along the way. Make sure not to be defeated while your HP is low.
Solve the Puzzle of the Four Torches
The Four Torches to Operate | |
---|---|
To open the door leading to the underground dungeon, you need to solve the puzzle of the four torches. The torches placed in the room before the door act as switches to open it. Activate all the switches to start the boss battle against Marionette (Echo).
Tips for Marionette Battle
Mark the Marionette Spawn Points with Pins
Since there are five Marionettes appearing on the map, mark the Marionette that appears with a pin to inform your allies of its location. Focus your firepower on the marked Marionette and aim to defeat it quickly.
Defeat Marionettes Before They Multiply
Marionettes multiply over time, so it's important to defeat them before they increase in number. If you take too long to deal with the first one, the next Marionette will start moving, and you'll have to deal with two or three of them simultaneously. Focus your firepower on one Marionette and defeat it before it multiplies.
Summoner Guide
Steps to Defeat the Summoner | |
---|---|
1 | Head to the castle |
2 | Summoner battle |
Head to the Castle
After defeating the Marionette, head to the castle. Along the way, there will be Exploding Robots and Shooting Robots, so stay calm and deal with them. Once everyone reaches the castle gate, the boss battle against the Summoner (Symmetra) will begin.
Tips for Defeating the Summoner
Destroy Turrets frequently
In the Summoner battle, make sure to destroy the Turrets frequently. If left alone, the Turrets will inflict beam damage and slow down movement speed, resulting in increased damage and defeat. To defeat the Summoner, do not leave the Turrets untouched and be conscious of destroying them.
Prioritize defeating the Summoner
The Summoner will summon Gargoyles to attack together, so prioritize defeating the Summoner first, starting with the one with lower health. If left alone, the Summoner will interfere with Turrets and ULT "Photon Barrier," so concentrate firepower, defeat the Summoner first, and then deal with the Gargoyles.
Experimental Subject Walkthrough
Steps to Defeat the Experimental Subject | |
---|---|
1 | Destroy the castle gate with Dynamite |
2 | Escape from the relentless spirits |
3 | Battle the experimental subject |
Destroy the castle gate with Dynamite
When you defeat the summoner, a message saying "Burn the castle gate" will appear. Use Ashe's Dynamite to destroy it. Be careful, as the gate will not take damage unless the message "Burn the castle gate" is displayed.
It can be destroyed with other methods besides Dynamite
The castle gate can be destroyed with methods other than Dynamite. Although Ashe's dialogue and objective mention burning it, other characters can also attack and damage the gate. However, it takes more time than using Dynamite, so it is recommended to have Ashe destroy it.
Escaping from the Unstoppable Ghost
Enemy | Performance |
---|---|
Unstoppable Ghost |
・Does not attack ・Continuous damage when approached ・No HP, damage does not affect |
As you progress inside the castle, the Unstoppable Ghost (Sigma) appears. While escaping from the Unstoppable Ghost, continue moving towards the back until you reach the boss, Experimental Subject (Bastion) battle.
Junker Queen Takes the Lead
When escaping from the Unstoppable Ghost, let Junker Queen take the lead and attract its attention with other allies. There are destructible boards and self-destructing robots along the path to the back. If you are not a tank, there is a high possibility of being knocked down by self-destruct damage and continuous damage from the Unstoppable Ghost. Let Junker Queen lead the way and clear the path.
Tips for Defeating the Experimental Subject
Decrease Movement Speed with Sojourn
The Experimental Subject immediately transforms into Sentry mode and starts attacking as soon as it appears. Use Sojourn's Disruptor Shot to decrease its movement speed and deal continuous damage. Since the area where it appears is a narrow straight path, it is easy to land the Disruptor Shot.
Protect Weakened Allies with Kiriko's Invincibility
The Sentry mode of the Experimental Subject has high firepower. If you have any weakened allies, it is recommended to protect them with Kiriko's "Protection Suzu." It is a boss battle without any additional enemies spawning, but the firepower is extremely high, so be careful and defeat it without letting your guard down.
Dr. Bride's Strategy Guide
Steps to Defeat Dr. Bride | |
---|---|
1 | Proceed to the depths of the castle |
2 | Obtain the key to the Throne Room |
3 | Defend until the Throne Room is opened |
4 | Battle Dr. Bride |
Proceed to the Depths of the Castle
Defeat the test subjects to advance further into the castle. Along the narrow corridors, there are numerous self-destructing robots and shooting robots waiting. Lead with Junker Queen to progress.
Obtain the Key to the Throne Room
As you defeat enemies and move forward, you will reach a large room. This room is where the Bride continues Dr. Junkenstein's research, and the key to the Throne Room can be found on the desk.
Defend Until Opening the Throne Room
When trying to open the door to the throne room, shock tires and suicide robots will come rushing from the back, so protect your allies until it is unlocked. Once the door is opened, you will enter the boss battle with Dr. Bride (Sombra).
Kiriko will be in charge of unlocking
Character | Recommended Role |
---|---|
Ashe |
・Use Dynamite for area attacks ・Prioritize damage |
Sojourn |
・Use Disruptor Shot to slow down enemies ・Use Charge Shot for damage to enemy lines |
Junker Queen |
・Take enemy attacks at the front line ・Support durability with shouts |
Kiriko |
・Obtain the key and unlock |
Kiriko will be in charge of unlocking the throne room. A large number of shock tires and suicide robots will come out from the back, but Kiriko has low firepower, so leave the defense to your allies and focus on unlocking.
Tips for Beating the Bride of the Doctor
It becomes a battle where other bosses also appear
Bosses that appear | |
---|---|
Experiment |
Unstoppable Ghost |
The battle against the Bride of the Doctor is a total war where a large number of small fry enemies and bosses appear. Always remember the positioning of your allies and provide support.
Maneuver to prevent the switches from being pressed
In the battle against the Bride of the Doctor, maneuver to prevent the switches on the map from being pressed. If you cannot hinder the switches, the gauge at the top of the screen will decrease, and if it runs out completely, it will result in defeat. Concentrate your firepower to deal a certain amount of damage to the bride and hinder the switches.
Random appearances except for the first one
▲Switch next to the initially captured castle lord |
The appearance position of the Bride of the Doctor is random except for the first one. It is guaranteed to appear next to the switch next to the castle lord initially captured, so it is recommended to share the subsequent appearance positions with your allies.
You can have a direct confrontation after hindering the switch 4 times
After hindering the switch of the Bride of the Doctor 4 times, the final battle begins. She appears in the center of the map with the shout of "Face the wrath of the bride!" and hinders your allies with her ULT. She will try to escape with a Translocator when she takes damage, so destroy it in advance and concentrate your firepower to defeat her.
If you move away from the center of the map, you can avoid the bride's ULT
The bride's ULT in Dr. Bride is activated at the center of the map, so when you hear the shout "Face the wrath of the bride!", you can avoid the ULT by running to the edge. During the hacked state, the damage received increases by 40%, so try to avoid the ULT and fight.
Remove the hacked state with Kiriko
When an ally is in a hacked state, use Kiriko's "Protection Suzu" to remove it. Since Protection Suzu has a limited range, try to gather around Kiriko when you have been hit by the ULT or when multiple people are hacked, and aim to remove it all at once.
Strategies for Each Character
Junker Queen's Strategy
Character | Role |
---|---|
・Hold the front line as a tank ・Provide support with shouts for durability and movement speed ・Utilize high HP to revive teammates |
As Junker Queen, your role is to stand on the front line as the only tank and absorb enemy attacks. Instead of relying solely on healers to restore your HP, be conscious of reducing the burden by using your passive ability to recover continuous damage.
Do Not Attract Self-Destructing Robots with Jagged Blade
Avoid using Junker Queen's Jagged Blade to attract self-destructing robots. Since their explosion is an area attack, it can damage nearby allies and potentially lead to a team wipe, especially in higher difficulty levels.
Ashe's Strategy
Character | Role |
---|---|
・Use Dynamite for area attacks ・Deal with surrounding minor enemies ・Use Ultimate ability to turn the tide of battle |
As Ashe, make use of your area attacks to deal with the incoming minor enemies. When enemies gather together, use Dynamite to damage them collectively and maneuver to prevent your teammates from being attacked by minor enemies.
Sojourn's Strategy
Character | Role |
---|---|
・Use Disruptor Shot to hinder enemy movement ・Deal with close-range minor enemies using primary fire ・Contribute to defeating enemy bosses with Ultimate ability |
Sojourn's high single-target damage can be utilized to contribute to defeating bosses. Use Disruptor Shot to decrease the enemy's movement speed, and with your Ultimate ability, land charged shots on the boss's head for massive damage. This strategy can even take down high-health bosses.
Kiriko's Strategy
Character | Role |
---|---|
・Manage HP as a Healer ・Grant invincibility to avoid ally's defeat ・Unlock key gimmicks |
As Kiriko, your role is to support your allies by focusing on healing. Always be aware of securing a line of sight to heal your allies, and protect those who are about to be defeated by granting them invincibility. In general, it is recommended to prioritize healing your allies.
