SS rank tank heroes shine in poke compositions and boast resilience against the prevalent Sombra strategy, making them ideal first picks. When facing a robust dive composition from the enemy team, strategic counterpicks like dive compositions, rush compositions, hybrids, etc., should be considered for effective counterplay.

We recommend using poke compositions! Since long-range combat is common, pick Orisa or Sigma and engage in sustained battles!

S Rank Tank Heroes

In the S tier, you'll find tanks who perform well in various compositions, not necessarily centered around poke. For compositions diverging from poke strategies, consider opting for heroes like Zarya or Doomfist.

Personally, I find D.va easier to use than Doomfist. However, I struggle against Zarya... Which one do you recommend, everyone?

A Rank Tank Heroes

In the A tier, D.Va and Winston stand out as recommended choices for dive compositions. Despite the prevalence of potent poke compositions this season, dive compositions don't always guarantee an advantage. However, applying pressure to the enemy backline can make fights more manageable, especially during the attacking phase on maps like Numbani with varying elevations.

Strategy Team

Winston is particularly effective when the enemy has a Genji causing chaos or a lone Sniper. Bastion can be challenging though...

B Rank Tank Heroes

In the B tier, you'll find tank characters well-suited for rush compositions. They are ranked in this tier because they face challenges against long-range firepower from poke compositions, often leading to a disadvantage. Nevertheless, when paired with a support composition featuring a mobile and healing-centric hero like Ana, they can still contribute effectively.

Strategy Team

As a Lucio main, I have a bias towards rush compositions. They require a high level of coordination, but their potential is outstanding!

C Rank Tank Heroes

Wrecking Ball	- Most mobile tank - Can move in three dimensions - Difficult to fulfill tank role - Vulnerable to Sombra's abilities

It is advisable to steer clear of C-tier tank characters in this season. Roadhog lacks the tanking capabilities and defensive tools typical of a tank, despite strong damage and pick potential. Wrecking Ball faces hindrance due to susceptibility to being countered by Sombra.

In the SS tier, we have characters that exert a powerful impact on the current game environment. Sojourn stands out for her exceptional damage output, Mei excels in creating walls and self-healing, and Bastion proves highly effective against tanks.

Strategy Team

Sojourn is easy to handle even for beginners, starting from the basic controls! If you're unsure of who to pick in ranked, go with Sojourn for now!

S Rank Damage Heroes

S-tier comprises characters adept at poke compositions and countering dive strategies. While lacking the overall versatility and sheer power of SS tier, these heroes effectively fulfill their damage dealer roles in the current meta, ensuring they don't easily become outdated.

As a counter to opponents who switch to dive compositions as a countermeasure against poke compositions, Torbjörn is highly recommended!

A-tier features characters tailored for dive compositions. When faced with a poke-centric scenario, transitioning to a dive composition for swift decisive battles is recommended. These characters truly shine in coordinated efforts with teammates, making them valuable when supported alongside other dive heroes.

The reworked Sombra in Season 7 has received a lot of attention, and opinions on her evaluation are divided. Personally, I find Tracer > Sombra > Genji to be the order in which they can perform well.

B Rank Damage Heroes

B-tier includes sniper characters and those demanding player skill. These characters possess the potential to ascend to S-tier in the hands of skilled players. For beginners, it is advisable to familiarize themselves with the game using more conventional characters like Soldier or Sojourn.

On days when your aim is good, sniper characters are also recommended! Echo can shine with a Mercy as a partner!

C Rank Damage Heroes

In the SS tier, Illari and Baptiste are chosen for their excellent synergy with poke compositions. Both not only offer healing but also possess the ability to deal damage effectively from long distances.

Strategy Team

First, let's choose Illari or Baptiste! They have versatility that makes them perfect for the initial selection, considering the stage and rules.

S Rank Supports

Ana	- Can put enemies to sleep - Has the longest healing range - Difficult to heal allies - Works well with a poke composition
Brigitte	- The only support with a shield, making her durable - Can balance damage and healing - Powerful crowd control with Shield Bash

Ana and Brigitte claim spots in the S tier as formidable characters. Although Ana's effectiveness with the Biotic Grenade has slightly diminished, and Brigitte's maneuverability during Rally has become more challenging, they remain strong support choices.

S Rank supports are just as good as SS Rank. You can choose your favorite character without any problems.

Kiriko and Lucio are featured in the A tier, known for their capacity to provide forceful healing to allies even during aggressive advancements. They are recommended as support picks in situations where allies are dominating, and excessive healing is required.

Strategy Team

Kiriko and Lucio have high survivability, so they should be chosen when facing strong enemy DPS! It is important to buy time and make it easier for allies to output firepower even a little!

B Rank Supports

Zenyatta	- High damage output for a support character - Can apply a debuff that increases damage taken - Lacks mobility and is easily killed
Lifeweaver	- Strengthened to have combat capabilities after rework - Difficult to find the right timing for Abilities

B-tier characters have a lower priority for selection. While they can perform well in specific scenarios, their healing capabilities are comparatively lower, making them less preferable as initial picks.

If we lack firepower, Zenyatta is a good choice, and if we need a more aggressive tank, Lifeweaver can be picked for specific situations.

C Rank Supports

Moira and Mercy land in the C tier. While both have their strengths, they often find themselves overshadowed by other support characters in the current meta.

Moira can sometimes shine when there's no other option, and Mercy is powerful when paired with skilled Pharah or Echo players!

Evaluation Criteria for Strongest Character Rankings

Evaluation of Individual Character Strength

Highly values the damage output, support capabilities, offensive power for impactful Ultimate (ULT) use, defensive power to counter ULTs, and support power to create advantageous situations for individual characters.

Evaluation of Versatility

Evaluation of characters who can contribute to the team's victory in various ways, such as hindering and restraining the enemy, not just individual attacks. Since it does not stick to the composition of allies, high-ranked characters can be chosen in any situation.

Evaluation of Adaptability to Various Game Modes

Evaluates characters who can seamlessly navigate through rule variations in game modes like Control and Push. Unaffected by map-specific advantages and disadvantages, these characters maintain stable performance across different maps.
