Jump Pack allows you to target the enemy backline and leap towards them. By leaping over the enemy frontline, you can disrupt their formation and ignore their defenses to reach the supports and damage dealers. If you land accurately on the enemy, you will deal 50 damage, making it an effective way to quickly eliminate low-health supports.

Looking Up to Jump Farther

When you want to leap farther with Jump Pack, make sure to look up before using it. Since it propels you forward, simply facing the enemy directly won't allow you to land at your intended location. Familiarize yourself with the distance covered based on different angles by practicing in training grounds or similar environments.

Avoiding Close-Range High-Damage Enemies

When using Jump Pack, it is important to avoid close-range high-damage enemies. Winston, with his large hitbox, is particularly vulnerable to shotguns. Steer clear of enemies who excel in close-range encounters, and consider switching heroes if the enemy team brings out a counter-pick against Winston.

Use it in conjunction with Jump Pack

Use Winston's barrier after launching with Jump Pack. It is an excellent barrier that protects all directions, but it has a 12-second cooldown. If you use it elsewhere, it will delay the time for the assault, and Winston's strengths will not be maximized.

Move along the edges of the barrier to avoid attacks

Instead of staying in the center after deploying the barrier, move along the edges of the barrier to avoid attacks. Since the barrier surrounds all directions, enemies will try to attack from the center. At that time, it is recommended for Winston to go outside and use the barrier to defend against attacks from the center.

In Primal Rage, focus on disrupting enemy formations by utilizing knockbacks. While in ULT mode, your attacks are limited to melee, but you gain the ability to forcefully push enemies away. Strategically position yourself to impede enemy coordination effectively.

Activate When HP is Low

Trigger Primal Rage when your HP is low. Upon activation, your HP increases to 1000 regardless of your previous health or any abnormal status. Utilize your primary attacks to deal damage, and activate Primal Rage when on the brink of defeat to showcase exceptional durability.

Corner Enemies for Takedowns

When aiming to defeat enemies with Primal Rage, aim to corner them. Each hit deals 40 damage and induces knockback, making it challenging to secure kills during the ULT. However, by trapping enemies in corners, they'll be hindered by knockback, allowing you to capitalize on support or damage to secure eliminations.

Ability Combo

Use Winston's Assault Combo to swiftly secure Solo Kills. If you can execute the combo perfectly, you can bring non-tanks to near death with just one combo. However, it's difficult to consistently perform the combo flawlessly in a match. So, start by practicing the melee attack after "Jump Pack" and once you've become more comfortable, learn how to use your alt fire.
