What is the Year of the Rabbit?
Celebrating the Lunar New Year
The Year of the Rabbit is an event in Overwatch 2 to celebrate the Lunar New Year. During this event, players can acquire limited-time items like skins and emotes that are based on the zodiac animal for the year. Since 2023's zodiac animal is the rabbit, this year will have rabbit-themed items.

Limited-time Challenges will be added
In previous events, limited-time challenges were added every week. It is expected that Year of the Rabbit will also have limited-time challenges throughout the approximately three-week event duration, offering rewards such as icons and player cards.
Addition of limited-time only skins in the shop
You can expect some limited-time only Lunar New Year skins will be added to the shop. In Overwatch 2, skins are mainly available for purchase through microtransactions. Likely, the Lunar New Year skins will also be purchasable.
