To download the PC version of Overwatch 2, first register for a Battle.net account. You can create an account by entering your name, address, password, and other information on the Battle.net account login page.

Download the Desktop version of Battle.net App

After registering an account, download the Desktop version of Battle.net App from the Blizzard official website. The Desktop App can be downloaded from the top right of the official website.

Downloading Overwatch 2 on Battle.net

Once you have finished downloading the desktop version of the Battle.net App, launch it and proceed to download Overwatch 2. Please note that you will need at least 50GB of free space, so make sure to check beforehand.
OW2 is not playable on MAC
Overwatch 2 for PC is not playable on MAC. It is only compatible with Windows. If you are planning to play Overwatch 2 on PC, make sure to check your own PC's compatibility.

Can I play OW2 on Steam?
OW2 cannot be played on Steam
Since the PC version of Overwatch 2 can only be downloaded and played through Battle.net, it is not possible to play it on Steam. Additionally, to play Overwatch 2, a Battle.net account is required, so the possibility of playing it on Steam in the future is low.
Overwatch Launcher management is possible
While downloading and playing Overwatch 2 on Steam is not possible, managing the launcher is still possible. This can be useful when you have multiple game launchers and have trouble launching them or when you want to organize your desktop.

Differences between PC and console versions
No Aim Assist in the PC version
The PC version does not have the Aim Assist feature like the console version. Even if you connect a gamepad to your PC, it will not be recognized as the console version, so Aim Assist is not available.
Adjustable field of view in the PC version
Only the PC version of Overwatch 2 allows you to adjust the field of view. Take a look at the gameplay screen and change the field of view to a setting that feels just right for you.

No option to toggle Crossplay in the PC version
In the PC version of Overwatch 2, there is no option to toggle Crossplay. The majority of opponents will be PC players, but there is a possibility of occasionally encountering a party consisting of PC and console players.
