Cassidy has undergone improvements to her main weapon and mobility, resulting in increased agility and easier maneuverability. Previously, she faced disadvantages in terms of distance falloff range compared to other damage characters. With these adjustments, Cassidy is now more effective in mid-range combat, providing her with additional opportunities to excel.

User-Friendly Abilities

Cassidy's ability, Magnetic Grenade, automatically tracks and pursues nearby enemies. Additionally, the Combat Roll ability swiftly moves in the direction you input, offering ease of use even for beginners.

Seeking Multikills with Ultimate

Cassidy's Ultimate, Deadeye, allows you to target enemies within your field of view until a skull mark appears within 7 seconds. If timed correctly, a single shot can eliminate an enemy. With no limit on the number of enemies you can target, there's potential for multiple eliminations if used strategically from a secure position.

Main Weapon's Attacks Are Difficult to Hit

Cassidy's primary weapon is a revolver, capable of firing only six rounds before reloading. The secondary attack rapidly expends the entire magazine, but the strong recoil can make it challenging for beginners to maintain accuracy while targeting enemies.

Exercise caution when engaging from mid-range with Cassidy. Limited mobility makes it challenging to escape when enemies approach. Optimize hit-scan main shots while utilizing cover to minimize damage received in mid-range combat.

Steer Clear of Sniper Confrontations

Avoid direct confrontations with snipers when playing as Cassidy. While Cassidy's main shots maintain damage at long-range, the efficacy decreases with distance, putting you at a disadvantage. If unavoidable, close the gap to mid-range to enhance accuracy and effectiveness when engaging snipers.

Widowmaker as a Counter-Pick Against Ashe

Widowmaker proves to be an effective counter-pick against Ashe, capitalizing on Ashe's limited mobility. Given Ashe's vulnerability to attacks when stationary, Widowmaker can strategically position herself to safely engage and defeat Ashe from a distance.

Engage with Long-Range Characters

Considering Ashe's limited mobility, especially when utilizing her ability Combat Roll, engaging from a distance becomes a safer strategy. Characters like Widowmaker or Hanzo, known for their long-range attacks, can efficiently apply consistent firepower from afar, making them suitable choices for countering Ashe.

To maximize the effectiveness of Cassidy's ultimate, Deadeye, it's crucial to prevent enemies from evading or taking cover. By disrupting the enemy's ability to hide or escape, you create an environment where Cassidy can successfully channel Deadeye and secure eliminations. Combat Roll

Let's maximize firepower by combining with Deadeye

Combat Roll can be used in combination with Deadeye to maximize firepower. With Deadeye, you can deal 300 damage to the enemy, then use Combat Roll to reload and perform Deadeye again, resulting in a total of 600 damage. This is particularly effective against tanks with large hitboxes.

It's safe to use as an evasive maneuver

Combat Roll can also be used as an evasive maneuver. Although Cassidy lacks mobility, Combat Roll allows for quick movement, so use it before being taken down when your HP is low.

Magnetic Grenade

Target Non-Tanks

Use Magnetic Grenade to target and eliminate non-tanks. When attached to an enemy, it deals 130 damage. However, it lacks the firepower to completely deplete a tank's HP, so it is more effective to aim for support or damage enemies.

Get close before throwing

Get within approximately 10m of the target before throwing the Magnetic Grenade. Even if it doesn't attach to an enemy, it can still deal damage through the explosion. However, the damage is lower compared to when attached, so it is advisable to use it for flanking or close-range engagements.

【ULT】Deadeye

Pair with an Ultimate that Halts Enemy Movement

Deadeye is most effective when paired with an ultimate that immobilizes the enemy. Since you need to maintain visual contact with opponents for a specific duration based on their HP to secure a kill, combining it with an ultimate that stops their movement enhances its efficacy.

Avoid Activating it Head-On

Steer clear of activating Deadeye directly from the front. Its effectiveness diminishes if enemies seek cover behind obstacles. Optimal usage involves activating it in locations where the enemy has limited hiding spots and clear sightlines, such as flanking routes or high ground.

Utilize as a Deterrent Against the Enemy

Deadeye can serve as a potent deterrent depending on your strategic approach. In scenarios like overtime during escort or control, activating Deadeye prevents the enemy from entering the base. Even if they attempt to force their way in, you can effectively handle them using Deadeye.
