Passive skills allow you to have more HP than it appears
Junker Queen is a character whose HP automatically recovers when she hurts an enemy with her ability or knife using the passive effect. All weapons other than Jagged Blade are short-range weapons, but when combined with Commanding Shout, you can quickly close the distance between you and the enemy, while recovering your physical strength and using your weapon to reduce HP.
Need to get used to fighting around
To successfully play Junker Queen, you need to learn how to effectively close the distance between you and the enemy. Since there are almost no long-range attacks, there are many situations where you forcefully attack with commanding shouts and Carnage, or attack with your allies when the enemy is down.
Strategy Guide
Key Points for Strategy |
---|
Be conscious of maneuvers that allow for close-range combat, prioritize attacks that hurt the enemy, and actively use jagged blades. |
Prioritize close-quarters combat strategies
Junker Queen is a character specialized in both weapons and abilities for close-quarters combat. Let's focus on creating opportunities for enemy knockdowns or using Jagged Blade to close the gap quickly while using Command Shout.
Prioritize attacks that inflict damage on enemies
Junker Queen should prioritize causing status effects. With her passive ability to continuously recover HP based on damage dealt, she can reduce the burden on supports by not only relying on healing from allies but also attacking and self-healing.
Make active use of Jagged Blade
Junker Queen excels in close-quarters combat and can heal herself by inflicting wounds on enemies. Additionally, Jagged Blade can be used to inflict wounds on opponents from mid-range and pull them towards herself, making it an effective way to deal significant damage.
Countermeasures
Anti-Pick is Sojourn
The weakness of Junker Queen is her short attack range. Sojourn can deal damage from positions where Junker Queen's attacks cannot reach and can also immobilize her with the ability "Disruptor Shot".

[Character compatibility chart |
Defeat her with a character who can deal damage from medium to long range
Since Junker Queen is a character specialized in close combat, it is recommended to attack her with a character who can deal damage from medium range or greater. While it is important to eliminate support characters first, engaging in close combat from the front is not favorable. Therefore, it is recommended to pick a character like Sojourn who can deal damage from medium range.
Compatible Characters
Lucio
Charge in with Speed Boost
To overwhelm Junker Queen, who can increase allies' max HP and heal with her ability, use Lucio's speed boost to charge in quickly. Junker Queen's primary fire does low damage if you don't get close, and you won't be hit by her Carnage ability, so it's best to quickly charge in and take her down with concentrated firepower.

Ability, Details, and Use
Jagged Blade
Effect of Jagged Blade | |||
---|---|---|---|
Power | 80 (Hit) 15 (Continued) |
Healing | 16 |
Cooldown | 6 seconds | ||
Effect | The passive ability leaves wounds with quick melee attacks, causing continuous damage. The active ability throws a knife. When used again, it retrieves the knife and pulls in any enemies it has stuck to. |
Aim for the Enemy's Next Move and Hit
The Jagged Blade is slow at throwing speed. Estimate the enemy’s next move to hit successfully. The ability is quick to activate but the blade flies in an arc shape. You can also use it against an enemy in close range.
The Retrieval Blades also Have Hit Detection
Even if Jagged Blade doesn't hit the enemy, the retrieval blades still have hit detection. They won't apply the pulling effect or hit damage, but the ongoing damage will still be applied. However, the Cooldown won't start until the blades are retrieved, so make sure to retrieve them quickly if they don't hit the target.
Commanding Shout
Effect of Commanding Shout | |||
---|---|---|---|
Duration | 5 seconds | Cooldown | 15 seconds |
Effect | Increase own life by 200, increase the life of surrounding allies by 50 for 3 seconds. Also, increase movement speed by 30%. |
Activate before engaging in battle and charge forward
Commanding Shout can be activated before engaging in battle to charge forward. It not only grants additional HP to yourself and allies, but also increases movement speed, making it compatible with Junker Queen who excels in close combat. It is recommended to activate it before charging in and launching a surprise attack on enemies.
Activate in desperate situations for effective retreat
Commanding Shout is also effective when activated in desperate situations, such as when HP is low or when surrounded by enemies, for a retreat strategy. By increasing HP by 200 and enhancing movement speed, it allows for options other than just charging in, making retreat a viable choice.
Carnage
Effect of Carnage | |||
---|---|---|---|
Power | 90 (Hit) 40 (Continuous) |
Recovery | 40 |
Cooldown | 8 seconds | ||
Effect | Swing an axe downward, leaving wounds on all enemies in front and dealing continuous damage. |
Assault and Target the Backline
Carnage charges towards the enemy and targets the backline. It has a total of 130 damage with 90 damage on impact and 40 continuous damage. The downside is it lacks firepower against enemy tanks. Use the Commanding Shout to increase the movement of speed and secure kills by defeating supports and dealing consistent damage.
Capture Multiple Enemies in Front
Carnage allows you to capture at least one or more enemies at the frontline. The more enemies captured, the more firepower, continuous damage, and healing amount increases.
Ability Usage and List by Power |
【ULT】Rampage
Effect of Rampage | |||
---|---|---|---|
Power | 100 | Healing Amount | 100 |
Duration | 5 seconds | ||
Effect | Charges forward, leaving a wound on the enemies it comes in contact with, inflicting continuous damage and preventing healing. |
Effective on straight roads
Rampage is effective when used on straight roads. When activated, Junker Queen charges forward, dealing damage and applying healing denial to enemies within range. However, it cannot progress or the range narrows if it encounters complex roads or hits walls indoors. Try to hit as many enemies as possible on straight roads.
Counters Zenyatta's Transcendence
Rampage counters Zenyatta's ultimate, Transcendence. It applies healing denial to all hit enemies, nullifying Zenyatta's high instant healing rate during his ult. When facing an enemy Zenyatta, play while predicting their ult charge.
Ability Combo
Junker Queen Combo Procedure | |
---|---|
1 | Hit the enemy with ""Jagged Blade"" (total 95 damage) |
2 | Pull the enemy with the stuck blade |
3 | Attack the pulled enemy with ""Carnage"" (total 130 damage) |
Total Combo Damage | 225 damage |
Use Junker Queen's Ability to perform a combo. Hit the enemy with ""Jagged Blade"" to deal damage or support, and if you successfully execute the combo, you can either get a kill or bring them close to death. It is important to predict the enemy's movement and successfully land ""Jagged Blade"".
