Recommended Voice Chat Settings
Turn Everything OFF
To protect yourself from verbal abuse, turn off all settings except for the nameplate icon in voice chat. If you want to communicate while playing, it is recommended to use external tools like Discord or only enable voice chat for trusted groups to create a safer environment.
Report if Encountering Verbal Abuse while Voice Chat is ON
Voice chat is set to ON by default, so if you encounter verbal abuse before changing the settings, make sure to report the player who used abusive language without hesitation. If you want to avoid matching with a certain player as a teammate, you can use the player avoidance feature, which lasts for 7 days, as a recommendation.

Recommended Text Chat
Turn Everything OFF
As a way to visually protect yourself from abusive language, it is recommended to turn off all text chat settings. Take note that even if you turn off text chat, communication such as greetings will still be displayed.
If you're playing on PC, Family Settings are also recommended
If you want to enable text chat on the PC version, it is recommended to set the inappropriate text filter to "Family" to protect yourself from abusive language. The inappropriate text filter offers three settings: Family, Adult, and No Filter. If you set it to Adult, there may be instances where abusive language is displayed.
