Location of Giant Purple Toad

East of North Ford Bog

The Giant Purple Toad can be captured at its nest located east of North Ford Bog. The toad's nest is slightly far from the nearest Floo Powder, "East of North Ford Bog," so it is recommended to ride a broom to get there.

Northwest Forbidden Forest

The Giant Purple Toad is also seen at a nest located northwest of the Hippogriff Den in the Forbidden Forest. The nest next to the Hippogriff Den in the Forbidden Forest is close to the Floo Powder, "West of the Forbidden Forest," making it a recommended capture point.

Northeast of Falbarton Castle in Hogsmeade Valley (Must Use Broom and Complete The High Keep quest)

There is another nest located northeast of Falbarton Castle in Hogsmeade Valley. You will have to use a broom or mount and complete The High Keep quest before reaching the east from the nearest floo powder "Upper Hogsfield" to reach it.

East of the Southern Hogwarts Region

You can find a giant purple toad at a nest located east of the Southern Hogwarts Region. Ride a broom from the nearest floo powder "Aranshire" to get there.

West of the South Sea Wetlands

The Giant Purple Toad can also be captured at a nest located west of the South Sea Wetlands. Head southwest from the nearest floo powder "South Sea Wetlands North" to reach it.

In the Center of the Coastal Mines by Lake Marunween. (Must clear Lodgok's Loyalty Quest)

Another place you can find a Giant Purple Toad is at the center of the Coastal Mines by Lake Marunweem. However, you will have to clear Lodgok's Loyalty quest first to access it. Once you clear the quest, fly on a broomstick from the floo powder "Coastal Mines."

Tips for Capturing the Giant Purple Toad

Capture While Using Spells to Immobilize

Disillusionment	Approach the animal without being noticed
Levioso	Levitate the animal to immobilize it
Arresto Momentum	Slow down the animal's movements
Accio	Pull the animal closer when it is far away

You can capture a Giant Purple TOad by using a combination of spells to immobilize it. First, use "Disillusionment" to approach it slowly. Then, levitate it with "Levioso." Finally, use "Arresto Momentum" for a successful capture.

Respawn Procedure

Some magical creatures may respawn if you change the time of day and perform a save and load. If you want to capture a large number of them at once, try using the method of repeatedly changing the time of day and performing save and load.

Lower the Difficulty to Story Mode

By lowering the difficulty to Story Mode, it becomes easier to capture magical creatures. If you want to quickly and reliably capture the Giant Purple Toad, it is recommended to change the difficulty to Story Mode in the menu before going to its nest.
