San Bakar's Trial Walkthrough Chart

Head to Cragcroftshire from the Chamber

To start San Bakar's Trial, first talk to Professor Fig in the Chamber, then head to Cragcroftshire in the Southeast of the world map. Fast travel to the Bandit Camp in the North Poidsear Coast or Coastal Mine and use magical beasts or brooms for a quicker journey through flying.

Burn the Leaf Reacted by Revelio with Fire

Once you arrive at your destination, cast Revelio and cast fire spells like Incendio or Confringo on the highlighted blue leaf. The leaf covering the wall will burn and clues will appear, fulfilling the progress flag of the quest.

Head to the Graphorn's Den

After burning the leaf, head to the Lord of the Shore (Graphorn) by the lakeside. The Graphorn of the lakeside resides further Southeast of Cragcroftshite. If there are no waypoints in the vicinity, open the Clagmar Castle travel point along the way and head there by air.

Defeat the Graphorn at the Destination

Once you arrive at your destination, you will engage in battle with the Graphorn. Graphorn repeatedly performs charging attacks and it takes time to defeat it due to its high HP, so it is recommended to avoid attacks, fill your Ancient Magic Meter with combos, and steadily reduce its HP.

Either choice is fine after defeating it

After defeating the Graphorn, a cutscene will occur. During the cutscene, choices will be displayed, but choosing either "kneel" or "attack" will not change the outcome.

Return to Cragcroftshire and wait on the Floors

After defeating the Graphorn, use fast travel to return to Cragcroftshire and release the Graphorn with the square button on L1 to wait on the Crests Floors. An event will occur, and the entrance to the Pensieve Chamber will appear where you can watch San Bakar's memories.

Proceed on foot for the cutscene

Once the entrance appears, descend from the Graphorn and proceed deeper on foot. After the conversation event and viewing the memory, return to the Chamber through the Magical passageway to complete the quest.
