Effects and uses of Accio

Attract enemies

Accio allows you to draw enemies towards you. The combo that connects it to Incendio, which has a short range of effect, is especially powerful, so it is recommended to place it in the same magic set. Also, since the enemy you pull will be defenseless, it is also recommended to hit them with basic spell combos.

Can handle pulling type gimmicks

Accio is also used when handling gimmicks with handles. You can start it by pulling the handle that acts as a switch, and you can also move it by using it on the floor with a handle. The handles that can be pulled with Accio will be highlighted in blue when you use Revelio, so it is recommended to explore while using Revelio.

Required for Merlin's Ordeal

Accio is the required spell for one of Merlin's trials: the small bowl. The balls you carry with Accio will be highlighted in blue with Revelio, so use Revelio to search around. Each of Merlin's trials requires different magic, so it is recommended that you complete the tasks and collect a certain amount of magic before traveling to each region.

Capture the flying field guide

Accio allows you to catch flying field guides. Field guides are one of the collectible items that fans who want to know about the world of Hogwarts will enjoy. It is also one of the accomplishments of the challenge, so if you find a flying book, use Accio to pull it towards it.

Accio is also useful when capturing magical animals. If you use Accio, animals that are outside the effective range of the capture bag will be drawn into the effective range. After attracting the animal, use Levioso or Arrest Momentum to buy time and enter commands.

Accio Usage

Press the R2 button while pressing ◯△□✖️

To use Accio, press one of the ◯△□✖️ buttons while holding down the R2 button. It is advisable to equip the spell in a strategic position in the spell set menu in advance.

Set the spell with the right directional button

To set the spell, press the right directional button to display the spell set menu. If you long press the R2 button in the menu and press one of the ◯△□✖️ buttons, the spell will be set in the same position.

Increase the number of sets with Talent

The number of spell sets can be increased by leveling talent. To increase the sets, obtain the Spell Knowledge from the Core Talent Tree in the Talent tab. It is possible to increase the number of sets up to four.
