To obtain Confringo, clear the main quest, "In the Shadow of the Undercroft." If you haven't cleared it yet, you can find it from the list in the Quest Menu, or progress through the story to make the quest appear.

Effects and uses of Confringo

Fire attribute attack with long range

Confringo is a fire attribute attack with a long range. Enemies attacked will receive continuous damage for a certain period of time, and if they are collided with while they are burning, explosive flames will be generated. It is especially effective when dealing damage to long range ghosts and spiders.

Necessary for gimmick that lights fire far away

Confringo is a magic needed for ignition gimmicks that are far away and cannot be reached by Incendio. If a field guide, which is one of the challenge achievement items, appears after ignition, use Accio to pull it to get it.

Burn spider webs and vines

Confringo, like Incendio, can burn cobwebs and ivy that block the path to allow passage. Confringo is also accompanied by an explosion which removes some obstacles that can also be destroyed by Depulso or other means.

Confringo Usage

Press the R2 button while pressing ◯△□✖️

To use Confringo, press one of the ◯△□✖️ buttons while holding down the R2 button. It is advisable to equip the spell in a strategic position in the spell set menu in advance.

Set the spell with the right directional button

To set the spell, press the right directional button to display the spell set menu. If you long press the R2 button in the menu and press one of the ◯△□✖️ buttons, the spell will be set in the same position.

Increase the number of sets with Talent

The number of spell sets can be increased by leveling talent. To increase the sets, obtain the Spell Knowledge from the Core Talent Tree in the Talent tab. It is possible to increase the number of sets up to four.
