PlayStation Exclusive Quest

Minding Your Own Business is a side quest exclusive to the PlayStation version where you get the chance to run your own business in Hogsmeade. By completing it, players can obtain The Shopkeeper’s cosmetic set and an in-game Hogsmeade shop which allows them to sell items at higher prices. If you have purchased the PlayStation version, be sure to clear this quest.

Steps to Unlock the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop

Step Details
1 Move to the southern part of Hogsmeade
2 Talk to Penny to unlock the quest
3 Talk to Cassandra and purchase the shop
4 Talk to Penny, enter the shop, and clean up with Reparo
5 Open the box at the back of the room

Move to the southern part of  Hogsmeade

To unlock the Haunted Hogsmeade shop, you need to talk to Penny in the southern part of Hogsmeade. Head there by fast travelling to get there quicker.

② Talk to Penny to unlock the quest

Talk to Penny to unlock the quest

Talk to Penny in the southern part Hogsmeade to trigger the quest. After talking to her, the Minding Your Own Business quest will start.

③ Talk to Cassandra and purchase the shop

Talk to Cassandra and purchase the shop

Cassandra is selling a shop, so let's purchase it. Select "I'll think about it" during the conversation, and then talk to her again to make the purchase. You will need 1500 Galleons to buy the shop. If you don't have enough, try earning more Galleons.

④ Return to the shop and tidy up the room with Reparo

Return to the shop and tidy up with Reparo

When you return to the shop, the room is messy, so let's tidy it up with Reparo. There are a total of 3 places to tidy up, so if you don't know where to go, use Revelio to find the blue areas and use Reparo there.

⑤ Open the box at the back of the room

Open the box at the back of the room

After tidying up, Penny will give you the key to the box at the back of the room, so let's open it. After opening it, a ladder will appear to the underground and the quest will begin.

Quest Walkthrough: Starting Point to the Atrium

Steps Details
1 Proceed straight and open the chest to obtain a fairy-sized hat.
2 Head towards the exit and get trapped.
3 Destroy the mannequin placed in the center.
4 Use Lumos to survey the room as it changes.
5 Head towards the open door.
6 Approach the platform wedged between candles in the corner of the room.
7 Approach the closed door.
8 Use Accio to place the lantern on the right onto the platform on the right.
9 Proceed while avoiding the flying furniture.

Proceed Straight and Open the Treasure Chest

After opening the chest, continue along the path that appears and open the chest placed at the dead end to obtain some gear.

② Head towards the Exit and Get Trapped

Head towards the Exit and Get Trapped

After opening the chest, head towards the exit. The door will close and you will be trapped, progressing to the next step.

③ Destroy the Mannequin Placed in the Center

Destroy the Mannequin Placed in the Center

Once the door is closed, destroy the Mannequin placed in the center of the room. The mannequin can be destroyed with regular attacks.

④ Use Lumos to Survey the Room as it Changes

Use Lumos to Survey the Room as it Changes

As the room changes, you will move to a room where the mannequin is hanging. Use Lumos to search, and if successful, the door will open, allowing you to proceed.

⑤ Head towards the open door

Head towards the open door

A cutscene will start once you pass through the open door. After passing through the door, proceed to the room at the end of the corridor.

⑥ Approach the pedestal trapped between candles

Approach the pedestal trapped between candles

There is a pedestal trapped between candles at the end of the corridor. Approach it. When you get close, the room will switch to one with skeletons.

⑦ Approach the closed door

Approach the closed door

After the room switches, approach the closed door. The door will open when you get close. After the door opens, proceed along the path.

⑧ Hang the lantern on the right pedestal using Accio

Hang the lantern on the right pedestal using Accio

As you proceed along the path, a door with a hanging lantern will appear only on the left side. Use Accio to hang the lantern on the right pedestal. After the door opens, proceed further to trigger an event.

⑨ Proceed while avoiding flying furniture

Proceed while avoiding flying furniture

After passing through the door, you will encounter Fastidio and furniture will be thrown at you. Proceed while avoiding them. The frequency of furniture flying towards you is not high, so as long as you keep moving, you can avoid them.

Steps Details
1 Proceed to the end of the left corridor.
2 Use Lumos in front of the mannequin.
3 Break the board and proceed further.
4 Use Accio to pull the first lantern and place it on the stand.
5 Use Accio to pull the second lantern and place it on the stand.
6 Use Accio again to pull the first lantern and place it on the stand.
7 Destroy all the appearing mannequins.
8 Use Lumos when it becomes dark.
9 Place the lantern on the stand next to the door.

Proceed to the end of the left corridor

First, proceed to the end of the left corridor. When you reach the end, you will encounter a stationary mannequin.

Use Lumos in front of the Mannequin

Use Lumos in front of the mannequin at the end. Using Lumos will reveal the entrance to the next route.

Break the board and proceed further

The entrance to the next route is blocked by a board, so use an damage spell to break it and proceed forward. You will arrive in a room with lanterns.

Place the first lantern on the stand

Use Accio to place the first lantern on the nearby stand. Placing the lantern will reveal a pathway to the next area.

Hang the second lantern on the stand

The second lantern is in a room blocked by a board near the second stand, so use Accio to hang it on the stand. The blocking board can be destroyed with a damage spell.

Hang the first lantern on the stand again

There are three stands to place the lantern, but there are only two lanterns, so use Accio to bring the first lantern closer and reuse it. When you hang the lantern on the third stand, a path to the next area will appear.

Destroy all the appearing Mannequins

In the room where the lanterns are hung, multiple mannequins will appear, so destroy them with damage spells. Since there are many of them, it is recommended to lock onto targets and reduce their numbers reliably.

Use Lumos when it becomes pitch dark

After defeating the mannequins, proceed until you reach a dead end where it becomes pitch dark, so use Lumos. When you illuminate with Lumos, a new path will appear behind you.

Hang the lantern on the stand next to the door

There is a lantern placed on the stand, so hang it on the stand next to the door. When you hang it, the lamp on the door will light up, and when it combines with the lamp in the Atrium search (right side), two lamps will light up, allowing you to proceed further.

Use Accio to pull the lantern visible from the starting room and hang it on the stand. After hanging it, a passage will open on the right side, so proceed straight ahead.

Pass through the chessboard puzzle

After hanging the lantern, you need to pass through the chessboard puzzle. If you step on the wrong square, it will crack and you will fall down. Use Revelio to avoid stepping on the red squares.

Hang the lantern on the stand

Use Accio to pull the lantern visible from the room and hang it on the stand. After hanging it, a passage will open, so proceed straight ahead.

Hang the lantern on the stand next to the door

There is a lantern placed on the stand, so hang it on the stand next to the door. When you hang it, the door lamp will light up, and when it combines with the lamp in Atrium Search (Left Side), two lamps will light up, allowing you to proceed.

Play with Poltergeist

After clearing both the left and right sides of Atrium Search, at the end of the door that opens, Fastidio awaits and summons multiple mannequins. Since there are many of them, lock onto targets and carefully reduce their numbers.

5 Use Lumos when it becomes pitch black
6 Defeat all the mannequins
7 Proceed straight and use Accio to move the lantern

Continue until you reach a dead end

As you continue until you reach a dead end, the room will change. After the change, it will be generally dark, so let's proceed while using Lumos.

Get dropped in front of the ladder

As you continue straight, you will encounter a ladder. If you use it, you will be dropped further underground. After being dropped, let's proceed while using Lumos.

Proceed while illuminating with Lumos

After being dropped from the ladder, it will be pitch black and you won't be able to see anything. Therefore, let's proceed while illuminating with Lumos. Chairs will fly towards you along the way, but they only fly once, so it's okay if you get hit.

Turn back if you start going around the same place

As you continue straight, you will eventually reach a point where you can't proceed further because you keep going around the same place. If you find yourself going around the same place, turn back and proceed forward.

When it gets pitch black, use Lumos

If it gets pitch black and you can't see anything, use Lumos to illuminate the area.

Defeat all the Mannequins

Since there are multiple mannequins, use damage spells to destroy them all. Since there are many, it's advantageous to set targets one by one and proceed with the battle.

Transport the lantern with Accio

You can transport the lantern on the pedestal with Accio. Take it to the pedestal near the door.

Hang the lantern on the pedestal near the door. When it's hung, the lamp on the door will light up, and when it matches the lamp in the library search (left side), two lamps will light up, allowing you to proceed.

4 Go down through the window in the corridor
5 Hang the lantern in the room on the stand

8 Hang the lantern on the stand near the door

Proceed to the dead end and turn back

Proceed along the path until you reach a dead end, then you need to turn back. Look for the lantern after turning back.

Use Accio to move the lantern

Use Accio to move the lantern. The lantern is located on the right side after climbing the stairs, so it can be pulled towards you with Accio.

Hang the lantern on the stand

Hang the lantern you carried on the stand located further up the stairs. If successful, the room in front of you will rotate.

Go down through the window in the corridor

You can proceed further through the window of the room where the lantern is placed. Be careful not to overlook it and pay attention.

Hang the lantern in the room on the stand

Hang the lantern in the room you entered after going through the window on the stand using Accio. Hanging the lantern on the stand will rotate the previous wall, allowing you to proceed further.

Transport the lantern visible from the window with Accio

Since the lantern used in step ⑤ is visible from the window, let's use Accio again to pull it towards us. After pulling it, we need to hang it on the stand in our path, so let's move while maintaining Accio.

There is a stand to hang the lantern in front of the closed door, so let's hang the lantern there. Hanging the lantern will open the door and allow us to proceed.

Since there is a lantern in the center of the room, let's use Accio to transport it and hang it on the stand near the door. Hanging it will light up the lamp on the door, and when it matches with the lamp in the library search (on the right side), two lamps will light up, allowing us to proceed.

At first, Fastidio will launch attacks, so focus on avoiding them. There's no need to attack from your side, so focus on evading.

② Defeat Fastidio's Monster

Defeat Fastidio's Monster

After avoiding the attacks, you need to defeat Fastidio's Monster. Although it has high HP, its attacks are easy to dodge, so keep avoiding while casting spells.

③ Defeat Cassandra Mason

Defeat Cassandra Mason

Finally, you need to defeat Cassandra Mason. She starts with a shield that can be destroyed with Stupefy. Once the shield is down, cast spells to defeat her.
