Mooncalf Den Locations
Northwest of the South Hogwarts Region
Mooncalf can be captured at a den located northwest of the South Hogwarts Region. You can reach it on foot from a nearby Floo Flame and it is also the recommended capturing point due to the high number of Mooncalfs appearing in the area.
East of the Forbidden Forest
Mooncalf can also be captured at a den located east of the Forbidden Forest. Head south from the North Ford Bog Entrance Floo Flame.
Northwest of the Bandit Camp in the Poidsear Coast
Mooncalf can be captured at a den located northwest of the Bandit Camp in the Poidsear Coast. The Mooncalf den is very close to the Poidsear Castle Floo Flame, making it easily accessible on foot.

It's recommended to capture Mooncalfs by using spells and charms to immobilize them. Approach slowly with Disillusionment, lift them up with Levioso, and then use Arresto Momentum to ensure a successful capture.
