Herbology Class_Brewing Method

Progressing through "Potions Class" will allow you to brew potions at the Potions Station. There are a total of 7 types of potions that can be brewed, and the recipes for these potions can be purchased at "J. Pippin's Potions." Obtain brewing materials through adventures and cultivation in the greenhouse.

Head to the Potions Class

Potions Class Shortcut

To attend the class, head to the "Potions Class" located in the annex of the library. If the fast travel to the "Potions Class" is not unlocked, you can take a shortcut by walking from the "Central Hall."

Follow the Commands to Create the Potion

Follow the Commands in Potions Class

Upon arriving at the classroom, an event will occur where you learn how to brew the Wiggenweld Potion. Follow the instructions displayed during the event to create the potion.

Approach Garreth and Talk to Him in the Teacher's Room

Talk to Garreth in Potions Class

Follow Professor Sharp's instructions and head to the teacher's room after completing the class. As you approach the room to retrieve the brewing materials, you will engage in a conversation event with Garreth Weasley, who will ask you to steal a "Fwooper Feather."

Obtain 3 Materials in the Teacher's Room

Once you enter the teacher's room, try to obtain the materials "Ashwinder Eggs," "Mongrel Fur," and "Fwooper Feathers" that will be used for the concoction. Each item is placed in a conspicuous location and can also be searched using "Accio."

No Penalty for Picking Up Fwooper Feathers

Although the "Fwooper Feathers" are not used in class, you can freely take them from the teacher's room without any consequences, and they will become your own if you keep them until the quest is completed. It is recommended to pick them up even if you don't intend to give them to Garreth.

Give the Feathers to Garreth

After collecting the items in the teacher's room, talk to Garreth outside the room and give him the feathers. Giving him the feathers will change the content of the event when talking to Professor Sharp.

Create Edurus Potion at the Potion Brewing Table

After collecting the materials, go to the potions station on the left side of the classroom and create the Edurus Potion. Select the materials and wait for 30 seconds while watching Garreth's failed concoction event.

Once you have completed the Edurus Potion, talk to Professor Sharp to complete the quest. Note that if you give feathers to Garreth, he will scold you, but there will be no negative consequences such as deduction of points for your house, so you can rest assured.

Progress Post-Game Quests with "The Girl from Uagadou"

To progress with the following story walkthrough, it is also necessary to clear the main quests "The Girl from Uagadou" and "Trials of Merlin". These quests take place outside of Hogwarts. If you haven't cleared them yet, head towards the village in the southern part of the world map to complete them.
