Purchase a Broomstick before the Quest

Feldcroft is located about 2000m away from Hogwarts and the terrain along the way is very rugged, so it can take a long time to travel on foot. It is recommended to purchase a broomstick at "Sprintwitches Sporting Needs" in Hogsmeade before attempting the quest and travel to Feldcroft by air.

If you're Short on Funds, Search for the Treasure Chests

A broomstick costs 600 galleons. Collect enough money by searching for "Treasure Chests" located throughout the map or sell any extra equipment to gain the funds.

Meet Sebastian in Feldcroft

To start "In the Shadow of the Estate," talk to Sebastian who appears in Feldcroft. Fly with your broomstick from "Lower Hogsfield" to Feldcroft 2000m southwest from Hogwarts.

Talk to Ann and Solomon After Watching the Event

After the conversation, enter the house with Sebastian and watch the event where you meet his sister, Ann. After the event, talk to Ann and Solomon, then talk to Sebastian again to progress the quest.

Defeating the Followers with Sebastian

After the conversation, proceed with Sebastian to defeat the followers of Lanrock and head to the scene where Ann was cursed. Since there are many of them, it is recommended to approach from behind during Disillusionment and reduce their numbers with "Petrificus Totalus".

Use Ancient Magic Throw to Conquer the Chaos

Around the area where the followers appear in Lanrock, there are a large number of gunpowder barrels and wooden crates. When it becomes chaotic, continuously use "Ancient Magic Throw" to deal damage while avoiding enemy attacks during invincibility time, making it easier to conquer.

Investigate 6 Clues with Revelio

After defeating the followers and arriving at the scene, use Revelio to investigate the clues. Examine a total of 6 clues highlighted in blue. Once you finish conversing with Sebastian inside the Abandoned Bothy, the quest will progress.

Break the Obstacles with Depulso and Proceed to the Back of the Basement

Once the conversation is over, use Depulso to break the rocks blocking the wall and proceed to the basement. After blowing away the obstacles on the east side of the basement with Depulso, examine the back and then talk to Sebastian.

Enter the Underground Cathedral and Examine the Memo

After the conversation, examine the crystallized wall to be transported to the Hogwarts Underground Cathedral. After the event, examine the memo with three pictures and talk to Sebastian to complete the quest.
