【1】Understanding the Relationship between the Numbers and Marks

The locked door in the Central Hall can be solved by aligning the sum of the number in the center of the door to the three surrounding marks. The marks around the door are assigned numbers from 0 to 9, and by converting them into values, you can deduce the answer.

【2】Calculating the Equation on the Door

Approach the door and press the □ button to reveal the equation on the door. Identify the three surrounding numbers and marks to make the middle number the sum of those values.

【3】Assigning Marks to the Corresponding "?" and "??" Marks

When you're done with your calculations, assign the corresponding marks to the nearby "?" and "??" marks. The locations of the "?" and "??" marks may vary, but they are often placed in close proximity, such as directly beside or above each other, so search your surroundings thoroughly.

【EX】The Rarity of Chest Contents is Random

The gear obtained from the chest after solving the door puzzle is random but the gear type is always the same. In our investigation, we've never encountered the exact same gear twice.

Viaduct Courtyard Bridge Puzzle

【1】 Light the Four Candlesticks on the Bridge

First, light the four candlesticks installed on the handrail of the bridge. To light the candles, you will need fire-based spells such as Incendio. If you haven't learned it yet, progress through the main story to learn the spell.

【2】 Change the Numbers on the Candlesticks Based on the Floors' Symbols

The Viaduct Courtyard puzzle is on the spot shaped like a manhole on the bridge. Align all the shapes and numbers correctly, and the manhole will open, revealing a hidden passage under the bridge.

【3】 Descend the Ladder and Proceed to the Very End

After clearing the puzzle, enter the passage under the bridge. At the very end, there is a large chest where you will find Legendary gear. Collect it early on to make your early-game progression easier.

Clock Tower Pendulum Puzzle

Alohomora and Arresto Momentum are required

To solve the mystery of the Clock Tower in the South Wing, Alohomora and Arresto Momentum are required. Both spells can be learned through the main story, so if you haven't learned the required spells yet, progress through the main story first.

Use Floo Powder to go to the Clock Tower in the South Wing

The pendulum puzzle can be challenged in the Clock Tower located in the South Wing of Hogwarts. When you travel to the Clock Tower Floo Flame, you should see a large swinging pendulum right in front of you.

Solving the Clock Tower Pendulum Puzzle requires opening the 4 doors located in the Clock Tower. By stopping the pendulum of the Clock Tower at the same location as the mark written on the door, the corresponding key will be unlocked. Beforehand, check the locations of the 4 doors and use Arresto Momentum on the pendulum at the corresponding mark locations.

Once you have stopped the pendulum using Arresto Momentum, dash towards the door with the corresponding mark. If you reach the door while the pendulum is frozen, you can obtain the items and chests inside.

Use Floo Powder to go to the Trophy Room on the Large Staircase

To uncover the final secret of Hogwarts, use Floo Powder to go to the Trophy Room on the Grand Staircase. From the Trophy Room, climb the stairs and proceed to the Headmaster's Office.

Open the door next to the Headmaster's Office

Once you reach the Headmaster's Office, open the door on the left side using Alohomora. Since Alohomora level 3 will be required to open another door, make sure to obtain it beforehand. After unlocking the door, it'll lead you outside so continue climbing the stairs.

Obtain the Key of Permission in the top floor room

When you reach the top floor room with Alohomora level 3, obtain the Key of Permission on the desk. Use the Key of Permission to open a specific door, and the challenge will be completed.

Open the door before the Headmaster's Office with the Key of Permission

Once you have obtained the Key of Permission, return to just before the Headmaster's Office and use the key to open the large door. Insert the key and the mechanism will be automatically unlocked, revealing all the secrets of Hogwarts and completing the challenge.

Trials of Merlin Puzzle Solutions

【1】Use Mallowsweet at the center of the magic circle

The Trials of Merlin is indicated on the world map with a leaf symbol, and when you go to the specified location, you will find a round magic circle. To activate the Trials of Merlin, you must consume a Mallowsweet Leaf so it's recommended to have some with you. You can purchase them from shops in Hogsmeade.

【2】Clear the Trials of Merlin

Trials of Merlin has different puzzle solutions depending on the location. Some puzzles require spells such as Lumos or Incendio, so if you don't know the answer to a puzzle, it's recommended to progress through the main story first.

If there's a cube and a square platform in front of a treasure room, first use Accio to move the cube to the platform. Once it's in place, cast the spell the resembles the pattern on the platform and aim at the cube to open the treasure room. If you can't find the cube nearby, it's recommended to use Revelio to search your surroundings.

Flying Field Guide Pages can be caught by using the spell Accio while aiming at them. Although Flying Field Guide Pages are constantly moving, their trajectory is fixed. Therefore, keep your focus on their paths and use Accio as they pass by.
