Cache in the Castle

① Search for the displayed rhinoceros skeleton

First, search for the displayed rhinoceros skeleton. The rhinoceros skeleton is located near the Astronomy Wing. Proceed using the map as a guide.

② Search for the dragon fountain

In the courtyard below the staircase from the rhinoceros skeleton, there is a fountain with a statue of a dragon. Approach it to proceed to the next step.

③ Search for the staircase leading up from the courtyard

The staircase is located after entering the Bell Tower from the courtyard. Climb up here to find the painting.

④ Uncover the secret of the painting

After climbing the staircase in the Bell Tower, you will find the painting. Cast Accio on the top of the painting to make a treasure chest appear.

① Move to the Hippogriff Den in the Forbidden Forest

After checking the "Map with Floating Candles," move to the Hippogriff Den in the Forbidden Forest using fast travel. You can move directly in front of the bridge, which is the next destination, allowing you to efficiently progress the quest.

② Cast Lumos on the bridge at night

Once you arrive, cast Lumos on the bridge during the night. Keep in mind that you can only progress the quest at night. You can press the R3 button on the map screen to change the time. If the quest progresses successfully, floating candles will appear on the bridge.

③ Follow the Floating Candles

When the floating candles appear, follow them. If enemies appear along the way, it is not necessary to defeat them. However, even if you deactivate Lumos midway, the floating candles will still guide you. As such, it is you can still progress through the story if you choose to fight the enemies along the way.

④ Open the Final Treasure Chest

By following the floating candles, a treasure chest will appear at the end. To complete the quest, open the treasure chest and obtain the "Treasure-Seeker's Scarf."

Well, Well, Well

① Talk to the Magical Well and obtain the map

To obtain the map necessary for the "Well, Well, Well" quest, talk to the Magical Well in the Ruins located in the Southeast of Aranshire. Without the map, you won't be able to clear the quest.

② Search for the tree in the Feldcroft Region in Rookwood Castle

Tree Location	Treasure Chest

The treasure is hidden in the tree in the Feldcroft Region in Rookwood Castle, so you need to search for the tree. The recommended fast travel destination is "Irondale." Once you find the tree, cast Levioso to make the treasure chest appear.

Cursed Tomb Treasure

① Go to the Betrayal Tomb

The location indicated on the mysterious map is the Tomb of Treachery. Proceed to the location using fast travel when available.

② Guide the moths to the door using Lumos

Guide the two moths to the door with Lumos. After guiding them, uncast Lumos and fit them into the door.

③ Move the box in the left room down the step

The box in the left room can be moved down the step with Wingardium Leviosa. After moving it, you can use it as a platform to proceed.

④ Guide the moth on the step to the door

Guide the moth on the ledge to the door using Lumos. After guiding it, uncast Lumos and fit it into the door.

⑤ Use Flipendo to arrange the puzzle on the floors to match the map

Use Flipendo to arrange the puzzle on the floors in the same order as the map. Solving the puzzle will make a treasure chest appear.

① Head to Henrietta's Hideaway in the south area of Manor Cape

Proceed to Henrietta's Hideaway as indicated on the map. You can use the West Manor Cape fast travel to get close to Henrietta's Hideaway.

② Cast Incendio on the statue

Cast Incendio on the statue. You can also use Confrigo to ignite it.

③ Move the blocks that appear using Accio

You can move the blocks that appear using Accio. Move them to the corresponding pedestals. Note that you don't need to move the block on the right side.

④ Use Accio on your target block

Use Confringo on the left block and Glacius on the right block. The door will open so proceed forward.

⑤ Defeat the group of Ashwinders

As you proceed through the door, there will be a group of Ashwinders. Defeat them one by one using target lock since there are many of them.

⑥ Cast Incendio on the surrounding torches of the statue as indicated on the map

Cast Incendio around the stone statue as shown on the map to open the door. If there is a fire in an unnecessary location, cast Glacius to extinguish it.

⑦ Open the treasure chest in the passage

Once you have correctly lit the torches around the stone statue, a treasure chest will appear. Open it to obtain the Treasure-Seeker's Gloves.

① Talk to Ominis outside the underground tomb

Map Location	Exterior

"In the Shadow of the Relic" can be started by talking to Ominis outside the Catacomb. If you have fast travel to Feldcroft Catacomb, it's quicker. If you have not unlocked it, use a beast mount or a broom.

② Defeat the Inferi and proceed to the square

With Ominis, defeat the Inferi and head to the square with the barricade of bones. Inferi nullifies most attacks. Cast Confringo and Incendio to ignite and neutralize its resistance.

If you have time, collect missed treasures

The underground cemetery contains legendary unidentified items as well as a large amount of items and equipment. If there are elements that were missed in the previous search and you have time and Wiggenweld Potion, refer to the detour procedure of "In the Shadow of Time" and search.

③ After parting with Ominis, proceed east from the square

After defeating the Inferi in the square and parting with Ominis, continue east from the square. The path that was blocked in the previous quest, "In the Shadow of Time," is now accessible, allowing you to proceed further.

Creating Stairs with Accio on Bones

As you proceed along the blocked path, you will come across a room with the Inferi and Sebastian on top of a step. Since there are bones in the left and right drawers, cast Accio to pull them out and move them to the center to create a staircase with bones and proceed forward.

④ Defeat Solomon Sallow

After watching Sebastian's cutscene, the boss battle with the wizard Solomon will begin. Solomon has a large amount of health and teleports at regular intervals. This makes it difficult to deal damage and requires a long amount of time. Avoid attacks and reduce damage using Protego while steadily reducing his HP.

In the battle against Solomon, using Accio to levitate him and then slamming him onto the terrain with Depulso can deal damage of over four digits in a single blow. It's a chance to quickly reduce his HP, so it's a good idea to aim for it while breaking his barrier.

It's Okay to Ignore the Surrounding Inferi

The Inferi that appears during the battle with Solomon will continue to spawn indefinitely based on the passage of time. Since it's impossible to completely eliminate them no matter how many times you defeat them, it's best to ignore them and focus only on attacking Solomon.

⑤ Learn Avada Kedavra after leaving the Catacomb

After defeating Solomon, follow Sebastian and leave the Catacomb. In the conversation at the exit, select "Everyone should know that curse" and then "Yes please" to learn the ultimate spell, Avada Kedavra, and complete the quest.

Note that even if you choose the incorrect option, you can still learn it by talking to Sebastian in the Undercroft at any time.

Unable to learn if Sebastian is expelled

If Sebastian is expelled through the choice in the quest, "In the Shadow of Fate," you would not be able to find if to learn about Unforgivable Curses. "Hogwarts Legacy" does not have replayability, and if he drops out, you will never be able to learn the Unforgivable Curses again in that saved data. Therefore, decide carefully whether to expel him or not.

How to Check the Treasure Map

Can be checked from the quest items

The obtained treasure map can be checked in the "Inventory" → "Quest Items." You can proceed with the quest without checking it if you know the steps, but it is recommended to check it once when you obtain the map.
