Talk to Professor Fig near San Bakar's Tower

It is not recommended to pass through the Forbidden Forest
It is not recommended to travel by land through the Forbidden Forest to reach San Bakar's Tower. Powerful enemies above level 20 appear along the way, making it highly likely to result in a game over.
Defeat Enemies Using Disillusionment
Once you meet with Professor Fig, eliminate Ranrok's Loyalists at the base of the Tower. Since there are many of them, it is recommended to approach from behind using Disillusionment and reduce their numbers with Petrificus Totalus.
Learn Human Demiguise for Convenience
If you have extra talent points, learn Human Demiguise which allows you to dash while using Disillusionment. This will enable you to move quickly and comfortably, and it will also be useful in the next main quest, The Caretaker's Lunar Lament.

Read the Letter Inside the Tent After Eliminating Enemies
After eliminating the enemies, search the tent located in the Southeast and read the letter written by Ranrock. After reading the letter, you will engage in a battle with reinforcements. However, their numbers are small, so it is recommended to quickly defeat them using Ancient Magic Throw.
Climb the Tower and Talk to Rackham's Portrait
After defeating the reinforcements, let Professor Fig use the unlocking spell and enter the Tower. Climb the Tower from the right staircase and talk to Rackham's portrait to proceed to the next step.
Investigate the traces at the entrance of the Tower
After talking to Rackham's portrait, return to the lower level of the Tower and investigate the traces near the entrance. When you investigate the traces of Ancient Magic, the entrance to the first trial will appear right next to it.

Once the trial begins, head towards the back of the area while examining the traces of Ancient Magic. The first trace is located under the stairs near the entrance, and the second trace is right in front of the gate.
Note that when you pass through the gate and proceed further, you will be attacked by the mini-bosses called the Pensieve Guardian. Quickly defeat them by throwing objects with Ancient Magic Throw. It is also effective to use the Expelliarmus and Ancient Magic Throw Expertise combo to throw back the enemy's weapons.

Bypass the arch using Accio on platforms
After defeating the Pensieve soldiers, continue straight ahead towards the first moving platform area. Use Accio to pull the platforms towards you and move to the right side of the room. Examine the trace to open the path to the arch and the area beyond.
However, inside the arch is a dead end with only a treasure chest, and you cannot proceed by passing through the arch. Use Accio to pull the platforms towards you and bypass the arch to continue.
Platform Strategy
1 | Pull the platforms with Accio and proceed south → east |
2 | Examine the trace to activate the arch |
3 | Get on the platform, grab the handle on the south side, and bypass the arch |
Defeat the Pensieve Soldiers and examine the traces in the air
As you defeat the Pensieve soldiers and proceed, you will arrive at the second moving platform area. The traces necessary to proceed are in the air, so climb the stairs and use Accio from the top of the bridge to jump onto the platforms and examine them.
Utilizing Arches and Platforms to Reach the Back of the Area
When investigating the traces, the wall near the edge disappears and an arch appears nearby. If your field of view is red, the bridge will obstruct and you won't be able to move the platforms. So first, enter the arch from the South side to change your field of view to blue. When you change your field of view to blue, the bridge disappears and you can move the platforms towards the back.
Once you move the platforms towards the back, go through the arch from the north side, change your field of view to red, and jump onto the platforms that have been moved to the back. If you cast Accio towards the handle on the back side of the platforms, you can break through the second moving platform area.
Strategy: Pass through the Platforms
1 | Investigate the traces in the air |
2 | Go through the arch from the south side and change your field of view to blue |
3 | Pull the platforms from the South side and move them beyond the bridge |
4 | Go through the arch from the North side and change your field of view to red |
5 | Jump onto the moving platforms from the bridge |
6 | Chant Accio towards the handle on the South side and proceed forward |
ex | If you want to get the treasure chest, change your field of view to blue and make the handle on the east side appear |
Jump to the platform beyond the arch and proceed
After finishing the Pensieve battle in the back of the area, examine the traces to make the handle and arch appear, and solve the final moving platform puzzle. If you jump from platform to platform beyond the arch and reach the south side of the area, the puzzle will be complete.
Note that even if you fall from the platform, it will not be a game over and you will not take any damage. If you can't move the platform anymore, jump into the abyss to reset the situation. It's sturdy.
Strategy: Pass through the Platforms
1 | Examine the traces to create the arch, handle, and platform |
2 | Get on the platform and grab the handle in the order of south → west |
3 | While on the platform, move in front of the arch |
4 | Pull the platform visible beyond the arch |
5 | Bring the two moving platforms close together |
6 | Pass through the arch and jump onto the platform on the other side |
7 | Grab the handle to the south and proceed to the back of the area |
ex | If you want to get the treasure chest, move the first platform to the west and grab the handle near the purple mist |
