Eye Chests are special chests can be opened after using Disillusionment. Using the Disillusionment spell in front of the chest pointless. It's better to use it while hiding in the shadows or in hiding spots before approaching the chest.

List of Locations for Hogwarts' Featured Treasure Chests

From the Lower Floor of the Grand Staircase, Proceed Left

You can find the first featured treasure chest in Hogwarts located near the Floo Station in the lower floor of the Grand Staircase. After descending the stairs in front of the lower floor of the Grand Sttaircase. You can find it placed in the hall visible to the left after climbing a few steps.

From the Transfiguration Courtyard in the Astronomy Tower, Proceed Right

The second chest in Hogwarts is located to the south of the Astronomy Tower by the right of the Floo Station in the Transfiguration Courtyard. Upon entering Hogwarts, ascend the stairs in front and the chest should be placed on the left wall.

Descend the Stairs Inside the Library

The third chest in Hogwarts is located at the bottom of the stairs to the left from the Floo Station in the annex of the Library. It's farther from the Floo Station compared to other chests, so it's recommended to follow the library stairs and continue going underground.

Inside the Restroom Next to Professor Fig's classroom

The fourth chest in Hogwarts is located inside the restroom next to Professor Fig's classroom in the Astronomy Tower. It is recommended to use Disillusionment before entering the room or hide behind the individual stalls in the restroom and use Disillusionment before opening the treasure chest.

Top of the Stairs Near the Courtyard of the Viaduct

The fifth chest in Hogwarts is located at the top of the stairs near the courtyard of the Viaduct in the Great Hall. It can also be reached from the fireplace near the Floo Station in the Great Hall, but it is recommended to follow the clear route from the viaduct courtyard to the treasure chest.

Inside a Small Room Within Castle Rampart on the South Side of the North Gate

The sixth chest is inside a small room within Castle Rampart on the south side of the North Gate near the Floo Station. The most straightforward way is to use a broomstick and fly from above to the entrance of the small room, so it is recommended to progress through the main story to obtain a broomstick first.

Path From the Zoology Classroom to the West Wing

The 7th treasure chest is located along the wall of the West Wing, just up the front stairs from the Floo Station in the Zoology Classroom. Ascend the stairs from the Floo Station and proceed down the right side corridor towards the door to the West Wing. The treasure chest should be there.

Underground Harbour Beneath the Atrium Bridge

The 8th treasure chest in Hogwarts is located in the Underground Harbour. To reach the Underground Harbour, you can either take the elevator down from the Atrium Bridge using Floo Powder, use a broomstick, or swim from the Boathouse using Floo Powder. Choose the method that is most convenient for you to open the treasure chest.

The Staircase to the Right Towards the Courtyard of the Clock Tower

The 9th chest is at the top of the staircase to the right towards the courtyard of the clock tower. You can find it heading towards the Floo Powder. There are also Field Guide Pages hidden along the way that can be collected with Revelio, so be sure to collect both the Eye treasure chest and the Field Guide Pages with Revelio.

The Staircase Leading Down to the Basement at the Back of the Greenhouse

The 10th chest is located at the bottom of the spiral staircase leading down to the basement at the back of the greenhouse. After descending the staircase from the Floo Station "Greenhouse." There's no spell needed to open the chest, so be sure to collect it while attending Herbology class.

The Hall at the Top of the Spiral Staircase in The Map Chamber

An 11th chest can be found in the hall at the top of the spiral staircase from the Map Chamber towards Hogwarts. You will need to progress the main story up until reaching The Map Chamber to unlock the chest.

Proceed Down the Wooden Corridor in the Divination Classroom

The 12th Eye treasure chest in Hogwarts is located at the end of a long wooden corridor near the Divination Classroom. The corridor has a split path along the way, but the treasure chest is placed straight ahead.

Descend the Large Staircase on the Lower Floor and Proceed on the Right-hand Path

The 13th Eye treasure chest in Hogwarts is located at the end of the right-hand path after descending the Large Staircase on the lower floor. Follow the path to the right after descending the staircase, turn right at the first junction, and then turn left at the next junction. The treasure chest is placed behind a level 2 locked door.

Solving the Puzzle of the Pendulum on the Courtyard 2nd Floor of the Clock Tower

The 14th treasure chest in Hogwarts is located in the room after solving the puzzle of the pendulum on the courtyard 2nd floor of the clock tower. To solve the pendulum puzzle, you need to learn "Arresto Momentum," so if you haven't learned it yet, progress through the main story first.

The 15th treasure chest in Hogwarts is located in the room on the 3rd floor of the faculty building in the south wing, which is locked with a level 3 lock. To unlock the level 3 lock, you need to learn level 3 of "Alohomora," so progress through the quest "The Man Behind the Moons."

The second highlighted treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located behind the Dogweed and Deathcap shop, which is at the northernmost part of Hogsmeade . Climb the cliff to the right of the shop's entrance, and you should find the highlighted treasure chest next to the small building on the left.

Near the Bridge Across from Brood and Peck

The third highlighted treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located near the bridge across from the Brood and Peck shop in the northern part of Hogsmeade . It is placed along the corner of a residential house, so look for the treasure chest following the bridge as a landmark.

In the Garden South of Brood and Peck

The fourth treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located in the garden south of the shop "Brood and Peck" in the northern part of Hogsmeade . It may be difficult to find as it is hidden in the shade of tall trees, but it is placed right next to the wall of the house, so it should be easy to find by moving along the wall.

Inside Gladrags Wizardwear

The fifth treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located inside the shop "Gladrags Wizardwear" in the central part of Hogsmeade . If you enter the shop and proceed to the back of the room on the right, you should be able to find the treasure chest right away.

The sixth treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located inside the shop "Tomes and Scrolls" in the southern part of Hogsmeade . If you go towards the back of the counter where the shopkeeper is you should find the treasure chest on the wall behind the bed.

The Magic Neep Under the Bridge on the South Side

The seventh treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located under the bridge on the south side of the shop "The Magic Neep" in the western part of Hogsmeade . If you proceed along the side of the bridge from the Floo Powder in the western part of Hogsmeade , you will be able to reach a path that leads under the bridge.

Along the Wall of a House Northeast of Pippin's Shop

The eighth treasure chest in Hogsmeade is placed along the wall of a house on the river side northeast of J. Pippin's Potion Shop. Since the treasure chest is placed along the path by the river, it should be easy to find by going straight along the path by the river from J. Pippin's shop.

Behind the Shack at Honeydukes

The ninth treasure chest in Hogsmeade is placed near the shack behind Honeydukes. Go around Honeydukes from the Floo Powder in the northern part of Hogsmeade and explore around the shack. You should be able to find the treasure chest.

Hogsmeade Cemetery

The 10th treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located inside the cemetery in the northern part of Hogsmeade . It should be behind the large stone object in the center of the cemetery.

Back of the House in the South of Hogsmeade

The 11th chest in Hogsmeade is located behind a house in the south of Hogsmeade . You can find it just south of the Floo Powder in the west of Hogsmeade . Once you reach the back of the house after heading straight south from the Floo Powder, continue along the wall towards the direction of the Hog's Head. You should find the treasure chest along the way.

Hilltop at the Southernmost Point of Hogsmeade

The 12th treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located on a hilltop at the southernmost point of Hogsmeade . It is relatively easy to find compared to the other treasure chests, so head towards the hilltop in the south of Hogsmeade .

Hogsmeade - Behind a Residential House in the Southeastern Part

The 13th treasure chest in Hogsmeade is located behind a residential house in the southeastern part. To find the treasure chest, look for an alley that leads to the back of the house, which is located to the east of the Floo Station in the southern part of Hogsmeade . It is recommended to follow the wall and proceed along the alley to reach the back of the house.

East of Hogsmeade - Locked Residential House at the Edge

The last chest in Hogsmeade is located inside a locked home at the eastern edge. The locked house is directly south of the Floo Station "North of Hogsmeade ." Alohomora Lv2 is required to unlock the door. It is recommended to collect Demiguise Statues in advance and level up Alohomora to meet the unlocking requirements.
