Lodgok's Loyalty Points to Consider
Read the Letter from Lodgok Received Through Owl Post
Unlike other main quests, "Lodgok's Loyalty" will not appear in the quest list until you read the letter from Lodgok. After completing "In the Shadow of the Mountain," open the owl post from the menu screen and check the unopened letter to start the quest.

Head Towards the Coastal Mine in the Southeast of the Map

| At the entrance of the mine, there is a formidable Armored Troll. If it takes too long to defeat, ignore it and proceed unless you need to defeat it for the Invisibility Potion, which requires "Troll Bogeys". |
Lodgok's Loyalty is a main quest that occurs near the mine in the southeast of the map. If you have unlocked the nearest waypoint "Coastal Mine," you can fast travel directly. If not, you can travel from the "Bandit Camp in the northern Poidsear Coast" by riding a magical creature or a broomstick.

Activating the Trolley and Boiler

| Examine the cloth bag in front of the boiler |

| The cloth bag that has fallen in front of the boiler contains a legendary "Unidentified Head Item." Make sure to examine it as it is an easy way to obtain excellent equipment. |
After defeating two devotees inside the mine, use the trolley on the right side of the room. After getting off the trolley, proceed to the back of the room and ignite the boiler with "Incendio" to set the progress flag for the detour.

Crossing the Platforms and Annihilating the Devotees
Use "Accio" to pull the platforms in the room near the boiler and proceed. Since the devotees are patrolling sparsely after getting off the platforms, it is advisable to reduce their numbers with "Petrificus Totalus" before defeating them.

Decide the Route According to Your Objective After Extermination
After defeating the devotees, decide the search route you'll take based on your objectives. If you want to proceed with the story without any detours, head towards the moving platform area indicated by ①. If you want to collect items, it is recommended to tackle areas ② to ④ in order.
Walkthrough for Side Quest

Crossing the Scaffolding to Annihilate the Devotees Again
Using "Accio" on the moving scaffolding, proceed to the lower level where a large number of followers appear again. Since they are densely packed, it is difficult to defeat them individually with "Petrificus Totalus", so let's engage in battle head-on and annihilate them.
The large number of enemies can be daunting. If you're having trouble reducing their numbers, use the combination of "Transformation" and "Ancient Magic Throw." If you have some "Mandrakes" or "Chinese Chomping Cabbages" you should use them to hinder the enemies.

Defeating the Boss Beyond the Elevator
After clearing all the devotees, ignite the boiler located at the west side of the room and proceed. This will initiate a boss battle with Armored Trolls and followers. Since there are many enemies and it is easy to get hit, prioritize evasion and "Protego" to maneuver safely. It is also effective to make use of the invincibility time of "Ancient Magic Throw" or "Ancient Magic".

Escape by Destroying the Pillars After the Battle
After the battle, use spells like "Confringo" or "Bombarda" to destroy the five pillars at the back of the room. Once you have finished watching the death event of Lodgok, open the front door, go left, and escape the mine to complete the quest.
