Hogwarts Legacy: Kneazle Locations and How to Capture Them

Kneazle Den Locations

Southeast of Brocburrow

The closest Kneazle den to Hogwarts is just south of Brocburrow. Head southeast of the hamlet and pass through the forest.

Central area of the South Sea Bog

Kneazles can also be captured at a nest in the central area of the South Sea Wetlands. Ride a broomstick south from the Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame.

Southwest of the Coastal Mine by Marunweem Lake (Must clear Lodgok's Loyalty quest)

Kneazles can be captured at a den located southwest of the Coastal Mine by Lake Marunween (Must clear Lodgok's Loyalty Quest). It's recommended to go from Marunweem Ruins Floo Flame

North of Cragcroftshire

Kneazles can be captured at a den located north of Cragcroftshire. Fly northwest on a broomstick from the nearest Cragroft Floo Flame

Southeast of the Clagmar Castle

Kneazles can also be captured at a den located to the west of the Clagmar Castle. Head west from the Clagmar Castle Floo Flame to reach it.

Tips for Capturing Kneazles

Capture using spells and charms

Spell	Use
Disillusionment	Approach the animal without being noticed
Levioso	Levitate the animal to immobilize it
Arresto Momentum	Slow down the animal's movements
Accio	Pull the animal towards you when it's far away

It's recommended to capture Kneazles by using spells and charms to immobilize them. Approach slowly with "Disillusionment", lift them up with "Levioso", and then use "Arresto Momentum" to ensure a successful capture.

Respawn Method

Some creatures respawn if you change the time of day and perform a save and load. If you want to capture a large number of creatures at once, try using the method of repeatedly changing the time of day and performing a save and load.

Lower the Difficulty to Story

By lowering the difficulty to Story, it becomes easier to capture creatures. If you want to quickly and reliably capture a Kneazle, it's recommended to change the difficulty to Story in the menu before going to a den.
