Ollivander's Heirloom Walkthrough Chart

Talk to Ollivander in Hogsmeade

To start "Ollivander's Heirloom," talk to Ollivander in Hogsmeade. Fast travel to Hogsmeade from the world map and head straight there.

Go from the Care of Magical Creatures classroom to the Owlery

Next, head to the Owlery located outside of Hogwarts Castle. Fast travel from the Clock Tower to either the Care of Magical Creatures classroom or the Clock Tower , and follow the beam of light up the hill.

Pulling the Handle with Accio

The statue mentioned by Gerbold Ollivander is hidden among the owls' perches. After examining the already placed statues, cast Accio to pull the handle on the wall and search for the statue. The position of the statue can be revealed using Revelio.

Returning the Fallen Statue to the Perch

Once you find a statue, pick up the fallen statue on the floor and return it to the perch. Additionally, search the area after climbing the ladder and return a total of 5 statues to the perch to progress the quest.

Clear the Quest by Talking to Jackdaw

When you solve the statue puzzle, Jackdaw will appear and the story will progress. After making a promise to meet Jackdaw in the Forbidden Forest, the quest will be completed.

Expelliarmus is Required for the Next Quest

For the next main quest, "Jackdaw's Rest," it is necessary to learn Expelliarmus before attempting it. Clear "Professor Hecat's Assignment 2" first and learn Expelliarmus.
